I have a Babyliss 1" straightening iron and I love it very much. It works great and I haven't noticed damage.

I bought a babyliss that worked nicely well until.. it didn't.
Now the power button is purely ornamental and when it comes on it stays at the highest temp (i think 350). I must admit I have been rough on the flat iron. Titanium plates leaves the hair frizzy.

It still works tho.

They're great and they don't cost much, but be careful with your curly hair

My old stylist used that blue flat iron to make curls in my weaves all the time.

I have a flat iron by this company which works well. I never use super high heat though.
