Although im not usually prone to crying, I'm a sucker for "seperated from family" films.

The reunion scene in The Color Purple. All of it. From the moment that Celie & Nettie run to the other and stop like "is this really happening".

The Somewhere Out There scene in An American Tail-- To this day, I can't hear or think of that song without tearing up. I immediately turn off the song or switch stations/channels.

The end scene waiting for the crossing light to switch to walk in La Misma Luna

Diary of a Mad black woman at the end when the mom comes into the church singing. It always gets me.
I just watched About Time and the scene where he has to say goodbye to his dad for real and for the final time broke my heart.
The end of the Notebook when she rememberd him finally, then forgets agsin snd hes just heartbroken....ugh then they die together...
My Girl...Thomas J's funeral

-Lion King when Mufasa dies
-Full House episode when Uncle Jesse moves out
-The scene in Precious when she finds out her dad gave her HIV or AIDS(can't remember which one) and she says no one ever loved her, all love ever did was hurt her
-Four Brothers when the youngest brother, Jackie, dies.

I feel like I'm forgetting something.

Is the notebook a film or book? If a book I'm downloading it now. Ive been reading so many slave narrative stories of late, my heart can't take it any more. I've just also finished 12 Years a Slave after watching it a couple of weeks ago.

I have so many books and they all make me feel some way. My all time favourite is called on your knees. Can't remember the author right now apart from that she is female. That book has me tearing up.

I wish we had a book thread here in talk talk

The house of sand and fog. Every. Single. Time.
House of Sand and Fog (2003) Poster
It was playing again yesterday on tv and I cried all over again. It stars Jennifer Connelly and Ben Kingsley. I guess there was a time in my life where I identified with Jennifer's character's brokenness. And the scene at the end...

Are you referring to the Shirley Temple version of The Little Princess?  Only because that's not what happens in the book.  I do recall that scene in the Shirley Temple version.

I can't recall all the movies because I cry a lot, but I just got through watching Mildred Pierce and after all the mother did for her daughter, Veda, her daughter still treated her like she was lower than dog sh*t till the end. Mildred literally went broke trying to please her and she got belittled and tormented in return. Cry

I'm a crier but I think of the same movie when I ask myself this question because I could watch it 100 times and still cry like a baby.

Aww i LOVED that movie as a kid, and cried at the scene too. Also the in scene when Sara is telling her dad all the memories and she's getting pulled away. Poor baby was fighting for her daddy. I couldn't stand the "demon minchinweed" lol

Rugrats movie definitely makes me cry! Tommy was sooo sweet especially when he sung that song about not getting attention when Dill was born, his voice kinda cracked in the last note and I was gone Cry

Toy Story 3 near the end.

This play called The Kink in my Hair. I saw it 3 times when it was in my city and I cried EVERY. TIME. Basically it's ladies in the beauty salon that have monologues and one of the ladies hair was growing long so the stylist said "you must be pregnant!" lol. She was pregnant, but in her monologue it turned out she had a son before and she was scared about the new baby (like touching her stomach expressing her fears, I was already half done when this was happening) so in the monologue we find out that the son was killed during gang violence, and they recreate the funeral. O gosh. GONE! Mainly because I could relateCry

SN: I really didn't cry for Best Man Holiday. Idk why not, just wasn't that emotionally invested I guess.
