I did not realize I went to college with her until she was in a mutual friend's wedding. I only remember her from the relaxed days.

Guuuurl!DeadLOL

Lemme find a woman with hair that behaves and looks like mine to ask hair questions. I bet I already know what type they were asking.

I think I asked good, general questions that apply to all natural textures. Some of them just asked the same questions over and over again that she's answered already or questions with obvious answers. Or stuff she can't really answer without knowing the whole situation. I like Mahoganycurls because I think she's for all textures and for overall hair health.. She can't really help that people idolize her hair.

true.  i like her but i dont find her methods work for all types.  theyre more designed for her type but i think thats how its supposed to be.  everything i do for my hair is for me which is why sometime when people as me questiions i have to fall back and remember im not them.

for example when she was talking about using a lot of conditioner in the hair.  im just the exact opposite.  i hate my hair ladened with products.  when i put my hands in my hair i dont like to come out with anything on my handsLOL

oh and did go back and i am listened to the rest

Yeah some stuff is only for her type so you just have to try different things. Some products she recommends are too light for my hair, and she dislikes shea butter because it weighs her hair down. Of course I love shea butter. I just appreciate her overall pride and respect for maintaining the integrity of natural hair. She's not willing to damage her natural hair for anything or anybody.
