Subject: Who fills their brows in?

I kind of do. Well my brows look thicker than the girl who made this blog but they could be thicker. Would you guys try this? Its called 3d Eyebrow Embroidery. Mostly done in Singapore, Korea, and Australia. I think theres a few shops in CA that do it now, but Cry thats too far

Heres the difference between regular eyebrow tattoos and the 3d embroidery

Process
The Start of Eyebrow Designing (Before 3D Embroidery):
Removal of Eyebrow Makeup.

Eyebrow makeup is removed entirely before the start of eyebrow designing.

Revealing my pathetically naked brows – the scattered little hairs.

Removal of Excess Eyebrow Growth.

Shaving off the excess hairs around the eyebrows.

Eyebrow Designing.

The traditional sharpening of eyebrow pencil.

Now, let’s design the perfect eyebrows shape for me!

Kelly is very dedicated in her work, and is more than a perfectionist than I am.

The attitude that is much respected.

Eyebrow designing completed!

I look a little fierce due to the thick eyebrows but this is only
temporary for guidance of the embroidery procedure later on.

The Start Of 3D Eyebrow Embroidery:
Numbing Cream.

Numbing cream is applied and to be left on for 15-20 minutes.

If you are afraid of pain, you may request for the numbing cream
to be left on for half an hour. Whereas for my case, I am pretty
much used to pain by now so 15 minutes works fine.

Preparation of 3D Eyebrow Embroidery Tools:
Blade, Needles and Colour.

Every set of eyebrow embroidery blades and needles are brand new for each individual customer – for hygeience purposes. Customers can be well assured that the sets used are brand new because at the end of eyebrow embroidery session, they will be given their very own used blades and needles – for touch-up one week later, if needed – or purely for keepsake.

No sets will be reused.

The set of eyebrow embroidery blades and needles.

The blade and needles are not as scary as it seems.
This is magnified a thousand times for you to have a closer look.

In usual cases, only a shade of brown is needed. Due to my naturally dark-coloured (and very sparse) eyebrows, she had to mix in two shades of colours – blackish and brownish – for my eyebrow embroidery.

3D Eyebrow Embroidery Starts Now
Working on my right eyebrow.

Was There Any Pain?

It may look painful with the needles pulling on your skin and you can hear the harsh sound of scrabbing – tsak tsak tsak – but no, there was no pain at all. The numbing cream works well, and her hands are fast. She is really skillful with the procedure as well – living up to her ten years plus of experience.

3D Eyebrow Embroidery
Next, we are working on my left eyebrow.

Procedure is the same so there was not much photos taken for the left eyebrow.

The Final Look.

After close to two hours, I have my full eyebrow completed!

It is normal to look like  http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-MAM3B8R2NMM/UUceRuuaFcI/AAAAAAAAEwo/T27cFpP8qiM/s1600/Shin_Chan+image.png" rel="nofollow - Crayon Shin-chan クレヨンしんちゃん
蜡笔小新  right after treatment. Do note that you will look
more like one the next day, and coming few days.

Be very prepared.

After-care Tips:

A small bottle of cream is provided for daily application – which will make your brows really oily. Bear with it for a week and you will have your beautiful and natural eyebrows for the next two years. :)

✿ Apply the cream daily for a week – until peeling is completed
✿ Avoid water contact – just pat dry (do not rub) if the brows comes in contact with water
✿ Do not peel off scabs
✿ Expect the after-scabbing effect to be about 50% of the original thickness right after treatment – if you are only just about satisfied with the colour right after embroidery, it is advisable to work on a second darker layer

The Recovery Process:

Day 1.

The  http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-MAM3B8R2NMM/UUceRuuaFcI/AAAAAAAAEwo/T27cFpP8qiM/s1600/Shin_Chan+image.png" rel="nofollow - Crayon Shin-chan クレヨンしんちゃん 蜡笔小新  look.
Eyebrows are thick and reddish with a slight swell.

Day 3.

Peeling has started on the left brow.
Do not rub or peel off the scabs.

Day 5.

Peeling has started on the right brow as well.
And the itching starts haunting.

The brows looks terrifying at this point of time because they are in patches, and
makeup is not advisable as the brows are healing. It got me worrying for awhile -
what if the eyebrows stay this way forever?

Well, all my worries were gone two days later.

Day 7.

Peeling is completed and the colours have blended in well.

So much love for my perfectly shaped
eyebrows now, and they look really natural!

How do you like them? Did they do the hairline stroke method or a diff type?

Love it. I'm pretty sure her needle looked different but I'm not sure what the exact method is called
She did use a light to medium brown and not dark or black though. Makes a world of difference

there's a part where she ran the needle over to "open the skin" so the lidocaine could penetrate more. that hurt. i had to close my eyes tight and bear down.
after that lidocaine sat long enough, we got started and i only felt the vibrating of the machine

coco,
i don't know if it was because i was sweating working out, or because i washed my hair in shower, but my brow tint only lasted a few days.

i think that the woman had a great job. i was looking at a similar 3D technique on some brow guru from london's website. i would love to have permanent brows, but i am too scared.

After the tint faded were you left with spaces?@ Southern what color are they now like dark brown? Will yours last two years as well?

Meh.  It's nothing for me to fill them in each day with a brow pencil or marker.  F*ck tattoos, concealer brow, and all that other ish.

It does look nice and natural though. Tongue

i got that method done and it hurts like a realllllll bish, I had to stop every so  often and my eyes watered like no one's business

the hairlike appearance blends in after a few months so the pics are kinda misleading..the hairs on mine aren't defined anymore but they were initially

510 where did you get it done?

Posted By: GoodGirlGoneGr8
Date Posted: Jan 31 2014 at 10:39am
I go 3 months without getting my brows done...so after the 1.5-2 month mark, I use my brow pencil to give them shape and definition til I get em done again.

It does look really naturalClap.  I guess I don't mind filling them in.  The shape of mine are perfect but I need more hairs.  And I pluck every day so something is wrong with my logicLOL

Hmmm... I never knew there were methods outside of filling them in and getting them tatted... I need to research tinting...

I space it out too. I don't want them to become thin but I have to learn how to tame them in between sessions

Nope...these bad boys are Thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick......I only fill in if I jack em up by accident....

Posted By: whitrhymes
Date Posted: Jan 31 2014 at 11:20am
I looked at some google images for tinting and it looked like the brows were fuller/more shapely afterward, but all the descriptions say its just lifting the eyebrow hairs or coloring them to better suit you...

I never fill mine in for fullness, I fill them in for shape so I guess tinting wouldn't help me.

yUP that's my brows too. I think I did too much to them when I was younger. I bleached them...I got creative as well.

Me likey.
Even though I get compliments on my brows, (which doesn't mean a thing, RE: the makeup section), I would love a more natural look and have been trying forever to find a better technique/pencil.

I don't have to (wolfman browsGeek) but it looks like the technique used to tattoo them on is really good! I would probably save up my pennies to get it done one day if my brows severely thinned out. From what I've seen, they appear to look best on darker skin tones.

a

thank you

there is a follow up appointment 4-6 weeks after to clean up your brows (wax) and to see if anything needs to be corrected (symmetry, thicker, you pulled off your scabs and the color came out with it)

after that should be a year. the lady who did mine (did her own) said she just passed the one year mark and she only had to redo the tips/ends/whatever you call them

Posted By: ModelessDiva
Date Posted: Jan 31 2014 at 2:31pm

yearly? or just one year after you initially got them done?

im really considering this...how much did it cost if you dont mind me asking?

i wonder if i can just get my ends done...

I got this done..

I had eyebrows they were just very thin.. After healing, they look very subtle/natural. But I'm very happy with them. My face feels 'done' now with just some lipgloss. I used to be so self conscious about my lack of brows.

The day I got them done:

They're about 40% lighter and a little smaller now that they've healed.

Don't post much but I wanted to chime in for any ladies in Los Angeles that were interested.

I had this technique done on my brows last year at Organic Permanent Makeup in Bel Air. The BEST money I ever spent!  I was tired of filling my brows in every morning or God forbid wiping them off in the summer. Now I wake up every day with perfect brows! The "strokes" have blended a little but it's still better than my previously super skimp brows.

The woman that did them has been doing permanent/semi permanent makeup for 10-20 years (can't remember exactly).

Thanks Southern I saw the pictures I REALLY like!

The boo said I can't get it done and for me not to ask again. This would help me out so much as I can never get my eyebrows just right.

I might consider this.  I was planning on going to get the surgery because I thought all eyebrow tattoos look too fake.  But these 3D and embroidery tattoos look a lot better.
