I'm in but I have different needs.
I need to soften up, loose some muscle mass, stay firm but gain a few pounds.

Fitness goal:
So I decided Im only going to run 1-2 times a week. Last year I did anywhere from 3-7 times a week running. I'm going to focus more on body-weight exercises this year. I wanna be able to do a handstand push-up in 2 years.

Diet goal:
Hopefully this spring semester will be like last spring semester. Modest caloric restriction (don't want to lose weight too fast lest I lose the muscle I worked so hard to get). My diet was at maintenance for most of the fall semester, which Im not mad at, but I want to do a little better. Im going to plan outmy meals a bit in advanced and hopefully that helps. And same as last yesr: No crash diets/no feeling bad after eating a lot.

Juicing and blending/smoothies are really 2 different concepts with different benefits

To add: I lost 32 pounds this year from july til now. I probably put 10 back on with these damn holidays tho . I work two jobs and I believe my second job is what did it (cleaning at night). Good breakfast, nice lean and green lunch and a lite dinner along with loads of water. I don't eat after 5 pm. I don't drink any soda. Next year I'm going to attempt to cut bread down and then out. It seems tough since you can buy tacos any where and cheap but I have done well so far.
I'm doing this for myself

what juicer do you guys have?

i was spending way too much money on fresh juiced greens.. like 8-12 per bottle.. but cleaning my juicer is way too much.. i have the jack lalane juicer but id like to get one thats smaller/easier to clean and start doing it myself.

and yea.. juicing and smoothies are different.

I'm not going to stop working out...don't be stupid. It's called maintaining...skinny means absolutely nothing. I know out of shape, flabby skinny people that can't last 20 min. on the treadmill or push plates in the gym...skinny..lol

I don't need a whole entireeee year to lose 15lbs. I don't need 365 days to lose 15lbs...I don't need all of the 12 months to lose 15lbs...

What the mummaclaat wrong with you coco? really how you gonna say what kinda attitude hunny must have? let the woman celebrate and do her jig JEEZE!!

Man juicing and salads too expensive man. Plus Jamaican greens and beets taste like dirt. I was drinking my green juices and ppl kept asking how it taste? Like dirt, too many jokes after that. Too earthy man. My friends mom (health fanatic) was juicing and i begged her some every morning i dont know why i stopped.

For the Love of Eggnog! Sip on a Vegan Smoothie Instead

I love the flavor, richness, and nostalgia associated with a tall glass of eggnog, but all that cream and sugar comes with a heavy caloric price tag. Now, you can enjoy a similar flavor and texture of the tradition with this healthy vegan smoothie. Hailing from Kris Carr's cookbook  http://api.shopstyle.com/action/apiVisitRetailer?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FCrazy-Sexy-Kitchen-Plant-Empowered-Mouthwatering%2Fdp%2F1401941044%2Fref%3Das_li_wdgt_ex%3FlinkCode%3Dwsw%26amp%3Btag%3Dwwwshopstylec-20&pid=22161&pdata=onsugar1922729,32966520" rel="nofollow - Crazy Sexy Kitchen , this recipe is low in calories and high in potassium and fiber, and due the addition of fresh nutmeg, Kris says it might help soothe a bellyache. It's truly the perfect light treat after an indulgent celebratory holiday meal, and if you choose to spike your glass with a little bit of bourbon, we won't tell.

Eggnog Smoothie

Healthy Eggnog Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

3 cups almond milk
1 banana
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, freshly ground
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 dates, pitted

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a high-speed blender, blend all ingredients until smooth.

I lost the 15-20 I gained earlier this year,  about 3 months. My goal is to maintain my weight and continue to gain muscles. When I decided to lose, soon when the thought came in my mind, I immediately put down the hunny bun I was eating and I started then. Some people be like "I'll wait til Monday to start or the new year". If it's in your mind now, start now. I follow a lot of fitness blenders routines of youtube. Mainly their 10 minutes workouts, but I would do it 3 times a day, in addition to eating right. Now I do a lot of dancing and jumping rope. I'm 5'6 130, but I'm trying to lose 5 more, 125 is ideal for me.

There's a place in Kingston were crazy people walk or run called Mountain Spring. It steep nuh bumbocleeeet. But when you get to the top the view is breathtaking and there's a nice Rastaman selling coconut water at the foot of the hill. And a chiseled good looking man who has yoga classes along the way too. I need to go up there at least twice a month, INSTANT BOOTY. Ill never forget the woman with an entire human being (3 year old) on her back, she slayed errrybody that day.

Why they crazy cause the ppl i see up there in the morning are the same fools at my gym in the evening madness! It took like 4 days for the effects to come on (legs like jello) but i felt like a boss for completing!

^ When you avoid all that junk, your palate changes too; I used to eat whatever (literally) and after I quit eating anything with high fructose corn syrup, I enjoyed fruits more than I used to, and if I ever eat something that has HFCS by mistake, or anything made with one of those junk food above, my body gets really weird, I feel like I'm high but not in a good way, and I have to drink a lot of water to "detox"

squat like that at the gym or at home (if at home and you don't have weights, just start at 10 squats and every day after that add another 5 so 2nd day 15 squats, 3rd day 20squats, etc - just look up the squat challenge)
