Then I really don't care if two married people want to breed a litter. I don't understand why people care if they are not on public assistance.

I love me some Dug*gars, watching the show right now.

Unfortunately, their 20th baby was delivered too early, RIP Jubilee.

If they have another one naturally, great. If not, great. Reproductive choice is for everyone, whether they want to have 21 kids or 21 abortions.

I couldn't do it but that's just me. Having had a miscarriage plus that last baby being so sick and in and out of the hospital would be my hint that I needed to have several seats but whatever floats their boats.

It's easy to raise 19 kids when your older children are helping to parent.
My grandmother had 12 children.  I notice when my younger aunts/uncles talking about childhood stuff it's usually about how my older aunts did this or that for them (ie cooked, fed, washed, cuddles, whipped, helped with homework, etc).   Yup..my grandmother quick to say she's
"raised" 12 kids, in reality she probably only had to really parent the first four children.

I don't believe that's always true.
I had to watch out for my little sis and my older sister really had to watch over me bc of the age difference.
I always find it funny when ppl say they baby sat their siblings.
No we're all just at the house together.

Some people really love their families and don't see them as burdens.
If the expectations are reasonable.

There is a limit .
There is a difference between the parent not parenting and being a good brother/sister to your siblings.

I don't think the Du rs cross that line.

My mom had 4 kids with my sister being the oldest and me being 2nd (we are two years apart). She then had her other daughter like 4 or 5yrs after me and my brother like 2yrs after that. My oldest sister still complains about having to take care of my brother all the time while my mom went out. There is definitely resentment from her.

I have my 6 kids with all of them being roughly 2yrs apart and the oldest is my son who is 10. My oldest son loves to take care of the babies and I don't ask him to he just volunteers. The only thing I ever ask him to do is keep an eye on them if I have to go to the bathroom or something and he will also watch the baby, if he is sleeping, while I take a shower. I don't think my kids will have any resentment when they are older.

People always look at me with admiration for having all my kids whereas I hear other people who have 4 or 5 complain that people ask if they know what birth control is. I have been asked by younger people, ones who work my sister, why I didn't keep my legs closed and I tell them straight up STFU you're aren't raising my kids, you aren't paying for my kids so it's none of your business. My kids were meant to be here and I was meant to raise them.

The world won't miss her.
Truth to be told, they are not doing anyone no harm by having so many kids, but it is obvious that this woman has some kind of mental problems. I read once that she spends THIRTY minutes daily with each child. That means she only spends a total of 9 hours and a half with those kids. She probably sleeps 8 hours. So what does she do the other seven hours? She spends time with all of them at the same time?

She is delusional. I wish people wouldn't misunderstand the Bible: when God said that people should go and procreate, people forget that at the time that the Bible was supposedly created, the world was very different, meaning that people would die young, sometimes wouldn't even pass 10 years of age. That's why God said to make another child if the others died early. He did not mean that people should have a clown vagina and 19 kids!!

"When good people stop having kids, society fails," she said. "Our society definitely needs strong families once again."

Often, children of the movement are also called "arrows." Quiverfull takes its name from Psalm 127: "Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Quiverfull advocates Rick and Jan Hess, authors of 1990's "A Full Quiver: Family Planning and the Lordship of Christ," envision the worldly gains such a method could bring, if more Christians began producing "full quivers" of "arrows for the war": control of both houses of Congress, the "reclamation" of sinful cities like San Francisco and massive boycotts of companies that do not comply with conservative Christian mores.
