Solange's new house in New Orleans
This is older but I didn't see a thread about it in search.

I would just like to say the True EP is a must buy, so go buy it. Dev Hynes is one of my favorite writer/songwriter/producers and their work together is brilliant.

Look like it would smell bad.  Like old, moldy, wood rot old.

It's vintage and I love it for myself but I don't think I would want to raise my family in there.

I actually love this house. I'd want a bigger tub and bigger rooms overall, but I love everything else.

Her bathrooms remind me of my great-grandmother's bathroom.  I like it for her but I wouldn't want to live there.

I'm not believing that home is hers if she's got a kid and all.  There's no front or back yard really and its looks like it in a run down area.  No wealthy mom (and we know she's got some checks from Bey) is going to have her kid run around in that neighborhood...

I dunno what that area is like but I guess Im one of the few that loves it... inside and out.... Id want that off in the woods somewhere tho.... I hate when homes are that close in a neighborhood.

I love New Orleans. Her house fits the vibe of the city. It aint for everybody but I love it.

It's beautiful! It has an old but refreshed charm to it. Far from decrepit. I think it's gorgeous, especially with those vibrant colors.

It's the "gate" for the neighbor's back yard?

Y'all be forgetting that someone doesn't have to be as high maintenance as y'all even though their bank account can afford it.

I'd like it if it wasn't surrounded by other houses.

I was thinking the same thing. This would be ok on a secluded beach or something. Not in the middle of New Orleans. The inside decor seems to fit her style and its cute. I dont think sis and the rest of the family will be visiting her in that house. We will meet you in the French Quarter chile. I hope she puts up some more sturdy doors.

Still love this house..............I agree with those who said it would be perfect in some secluded tropical spot..... Glad theres others who dont like being that close to neighbors.

Solange is a social being. She clearly loves to be surrounded by people

She is not her sister, the location makes perfect sense for her

I like it!! The only thing I would change is the exterior. I much prefer brick vs anything else.

new orleans isn't what it used to be

New Orleans is in my top 3 for places I'll consider moving too once I graduate.

It is close to home but not too close. Cost of living is low. The food is good. The art is good. The music is good. The people are nice. Always something to do. More diverse than most places in this area. I love me some street performers.

I go a lot on weekends when me and my friends can't think of anything to do in our city. Especially during the cooler months when aint nobody tryna go to the beach. Or on Halloween when you have a costume but you don't know of any parties.

I don't feel unsafe there. Not any less safe than other major cities.
