I purchased 2 bundles of Brazilian tight curl from Tony(I requested 16 inches and I only received 14 Ouch)

I do like the hair though. I washed and conditioned and sealed. Had very little shedding.
Can't say the same for the closure I ordered. It shed like crazy! Won't order my closures from him again

I also purchased 2 bundles of Indian Virgin Straight from Kevin, 16 inches and 18 inches, and a closure. The hair is gorgeous but the pic doesn't do it justice (I forgot to detangle!). The hair almost didn't shed at all when I washed and conditioned it and neither did the closure. I had to wait 7 weeks for it, though!

I'm installing next week. I'll update the thread then.
The pics really don't do the hair justice. I didn't have a camera so I had to ask a friend and I took the pics in a hurry

Didn't take a pic when I first took it out the bag but it looked exactly as advertised (Brazilian tight curl). I think I might have overbrushed it on the left side. Hoping it'll bounce back when I wet it again. Will also put in some leave-in conditioner or some type of oil

Yes I did. However, I didn't want to send it back because shipping is $35. So I asked that he send me a closure at a discount to go with it. He apologized and sent me the closure, which ironically is 16 inches.

Lots of views but no comment. Is something wrong with the hair? Please do not spare the criticism. This is my first time buying. I don't even know how to test if it's actual human hair or not.

The only issue was the shortness of length which the vendor sent you a closure at a discounted price.   To test for human hair, you could take some hairs and do the burn test. If the hair turns to ash then the hair is real. Honestly, you won't know about any issues until you actually wear the hair for a certain amount of time.

Ok. As Ms Blue said the real test is when u are going to wear it(install). Pictures only give us an idea of what the hair looks like. (remember we cannot feel it).Trust your judgement and install the hair. Then u will be able to see if you found yourself a vendor.Smile

Girl, that tight curl is dreamy! Are those pics before or after a co-wash?

Glad you found a vendor who at least tries to rectify their mistakes.

Which one are you installing next week? I'm looking forward to install pics.

The first pic is after I washed and conditioned. I haven't decided which one I'm installing first. I'll figure it out on the spot, I guess, lol. Right now I'm leaning towards the tight curl.

Definitely looking forward to install pics now.

Just make sure you stay on top of your co-washes ands deep conditioning. Curly hair can be a beast if it's not moisturized properly.

How often should I co-wash/deep condition?

I'll be honest that curly looks like its gonna tangle like crazy unless you haven't combed or brushed through it before it dried.

I'm a little surprised that you say that. I did brush it through but there was nothing to detangle, even after washing. Not a knot in sight.

Follow up: The curly hair from Tony turned out to be a tangly mess, which is why I didn't bother taking pics. First week was relatively easy but the second week is a nightmare. The install looked good at first but now it's pulling my hair out at the roots. I will be removing soon.
I'll be making a wig with Kevin's hair.
