All of her hair is in a cap.

I don't understand why the wig maker thought those three colors would look good on anyone

This.

There's this lady that works at the makeup counter in Bloomingdales that is currently rocking this dreadful blond LF. I wanted so badly to pull her to the side and tell her that she looks like a clown, not to make her feel bad, but out of sincerity and love though. Kinda like how you pull someone to the side to let them know they have a stain on their backside or tissue stuck on their shoeDisapprove

But it ain't my place so...

I'm not being messy. The wig itself is ugly but I'm specifically talking about the blonde against her skin tone. Nothing underhanded about it.

Its a no for me, and probably for reasons outside of the blonde hair.

She needs to fix her brows and maybe resort to a different shade of blonde.
The black roots, with the blonde and red whatever is not cute. I'm not sorry.

The reddish brown really takes away from it. The blonde is a nice shade that really could have been complimented, but the brown ruins it

I'm not gonna lie though, I wore a blonde wig for my cosplay and I didn't feel bad about how I looked!

Complimented how? How would you wear it, hypothetically?

I'm no blonde expert, the only time I've worn blonde was for this cosplay. But I believe it could have looked better with far better and far more gradual blending and more chocolately shades of brown instead of the reddish brown used.

Cosplay and everyday is totally different and the outcome is two worlds apart. For an everyday look no, the wig is ugly. It wouldn't work for anybody.

Obviously, but in every day life, I think blonde can be worked on by balancing it with browns for dark skin.

at least in the video she does admit she wasn;'t a fan of that 'sent wig' color..she also mentioned it doesn;t compliment her skintone..so  I ain't gonna get mad at her at least she is admitting something of which we think of her not to be wearing it,,she also mentioned to leave any comment below even any negativity cause she is a strong woman..]

True, I've done brown + blond weave before. It has to be right color, not too light with some gold to it. Like in the photo Katrenia posted, I like that.

Some blondes work well with darker toned skin, and some make us look like fools..It's a delicate balance that most aren't able to achieve..

I will say this.  If u do blonde...u can get away with it better if it's a natural texture.  Even if the colour ain't quite right...folks will more likely give u a "she's one of them punk rock naturals" pass.

..ive seen a light ash blonde work on very dark skin. The girl had exquisite features though, and it was a short cropped style with her real hair.

I tend to dislike blond hair on black women anyway. But on dark-skinned women, it's a special kind of a hot mess. She looks horrible and cheap.

I actually kinda like the color on her. I have done blonde before, but it was at the very bottom/back. I kinda wanna try it again. But I'm opposed to it for other reasons lol.

Hello blondie!  Gabrielle Union showed off her new blonde hair and sparkling skin in a red dress walking into the set of Chris Rock's new film, "The Untitled Chris Rock Project" in New York City today.

An ugly look and really cheap looking.Dead Same with the tatoos.

I think when you see a celib all dolled up and wearing blonde hair, you do get used to seeing it and somehow it starts to look good ... ish. Ermm It's like your brain corrects for it ... in some way.

MJ Blige, Beyonce and Gabrielle look good 'dispite' the blonde hair though.. not because of it. I just let my brain skim over the hair color when I see them because for sure it looks ugly and artifical.

I saw this online and thought it looked nice. I still heart Naomi.
I'm sure IRL it was a mess though (in addition to the obvi contoured makeup on her nose).

@ the naomi pic...ll contouring is obvious IMO...hate contouring with a passionDead

I dont consider Gabby dark skinned. She has yellow undertones, so i can see how she can pull off a subtle blonde.

and ooh lawd her skin really is "sparkling"

Leave Mary alone, she can't afford round the clock hair and makeup any more.Cry

I think she's like many of us, she has good and BAD hair days. I saw her with the blonde hair and her makeup accented the hair with gold tones that were beautiful.
I've also seen her not looking so good in blonde hair.
