Can you guys share any netflix gems that you come across?

Snow in the bluff

The black panther Mixtape (pretty good...alot of subtitles tho)

Dang, this Whores Glory is highly recommended. Might have to check that out.

I can never remember the names of the movies I watch. I pretty much only remember the laughably bad ones .

American Violet was pretty good, and based on a true story. The ending made me mad as fukc tho.

I've seen a couple of movies based on Karla, and the one on Netflix with Laura Prepon is my least favorite.

Still a okay movie tho.

Prince of Broadway was Pretty Good.

Loved when the Baby made wallpaper out of his diaper content
He was a Good Dude, I Liked the fact that the Women in His Life wouldn't do it for Him that made Him Be a Good Father

Those are straight DC accents.  But in that movie, they chose characters that had very heavy DC accents though.

I shoulda listened to Quiann!

Only two of the 6 stories were somewhat interesting.

And what was up with that huge censor over the black guy and Chinese girl's face when they were kissing? I was puzzled like a mutha.

ETA: I also watched The Babysitters. I knew something was off about the character involved in the twist at the end from jump, but it was still a pretty decent movie.

Just don't watch it at work like I did . My co-worker would walk in when it was a screen full of titties .

I forgot about Black Butterfly! That movie was pretty good too. Sad, but so good. The ending threw for a loop. That was am twist that I didn't see coming.

I would just warn anyone, it's a good movie, but it had a pretty disturbing rape scene.

Just finished Freelancers(recommended by Tousha)...

I'd expect a movie to be good when it has Forrest Whittaker AND Robery DeNiro. 50 Cent's acting wasn't as bad as I would have imagined. The plot was pretty good if you're into cop movies. Some parts really were unbelievable and unrealistic, but still a decent movie overall.

I couldn't stop chuckling every time they showed 50 up close with that juicy, jheri curl mess.

Damn tho, they coulda let 50 be attracted to at least one black woman in the movie. Hell, I woulda settled for a woman of any color.

Even his cokehead jumpoff had to be a white woman .

A pretty decent movie, but nothing I'd watch again.

I watched Bully last night. I cried and cried throughout it. I was most upset with the story about Alex. He seemed to be so used to being bullied that he just took it and said nothing or fight back in any way. I just wanted to shake him to wake him up so he could stand up for himself.

So... between insomnia and being bored at work, I watched two more of Tousha's recommendations.

Percentage was a typical hustler with guns movies, only with credit cards instead of drugs. The cowboy twist was borderline ridiculous, and the ending made me wanna punch Cam'ron in the face.

Tousha, you get an A+ for recommending The Factory. I love suspense thrillers with twists at the end.

On to the next movie!

If any of you are looking for great sports stories... 30 for 30 sports documentaries. I'm no sports fan but these are shot from a human perspective that is easily relatible...

I watched
Guru of Go (make sure you have your tissue box ready)
The fab five (dope!)
26 years the dewey Bozella story (another tissue box needed)
Broke
You don't know Bo (GREAT)

Also watched ESPN Films on
Lola Jones (miss James...he would've liked that one)

Amber Alert pissed me off and broke my heart all at the same time.

I Googled and was relieved to see it wasn't needed in a true story.

I really wanted to punch Nate in the face tho.

I posted about that one earlier in the thread......the girl was so f*ckin' annoying!!!! I just wanted to choke her

Yeah, I think I took it from your suggestions.

I also watched 96 Minutes like you recommended. He make the best decisions, but I felt bad for Dre. You were right, it was a pretty good movie.

That Amber Alert irked my nerves bad.

I also watched Luv and Prince of Broadway. I swear I just wanted to adopt the lil boy I'm Luv and y'all know I didn't even do kids like that. I was dying laughing when Lucky kept going off on the baby in Prince of Broadway like he knew what he was saying.

Linda needed her as beat, and his girlfriend' s weave was killing me softly. ..I was dying a slow death.

Told y'all, I'm slowly making my way thru this list.

Just watched Angels in LA. It's documentary about the homeless in LA on skid row. Some who have mental illness and others who become addicted to drugs. very good!

Lisa was dead wrong and so was her momma for letting him leave with the baby, the way he was carrying on

I don't think Eduardito was Lucky's baby, I understood why boss said it was, for his own reasons and for Lucky and the baby's sake but the truth is the truth and it should have been told

It was nice to see how quickly Lucky fell into a routine and provided for the baby and became a Dad

Cry I know I thought the same thing, but I blocked it out of my head..I really want to believe that that is Lucky's baby...they both needed each other.

I had a feeling he was lying, but who else would take care of Eduarito besides Lucky? His mama don't want him or her ratchet ass boyfriend.
