I was balking at a top stylist in Seattle charging $450! .................. $975? Dead

I am not judging those who pay that price, but just out of curiosity, is anyone willing to post pics of her install? What does a $975 install look like? just trying to see what makes it different or Superior to a $200 install. Confused

Posted By: Naturalchick30

I saw one of her videos where she was explaining how to book an appointment with her if you are not in her area.  There is some special order form and you have to have a certain amount of ppl in your area so that its worth her coming out.  You have to pay her travel expenses plus hair and styling.  Before that you have to put down a deposit.  It's just too much...

She needs to seriously humble herself

1. You're not a celebrity stylist.
2. You're not a licensed cosmetologist.
3. You can't style for sh*t.
4. You can't even do a custom color job.
5. You take 3 hours to braid hair.
6. Your wig making skills are subpar.

I'm just going to stop there.

LMAO at Kami youve been thanked!!

People are starting to see through the smoke and mirrors with her except her loyal cult following (a few of which are members here).  Ever notice that her customers never go into DETAIL about their experience with her? They cant tell you anything about what was done, yet they're supposed to be weave "experts" who all of a sudden go blank when they sit in her chair.

I'm not knocking her for making a living and I do think she does good work however she needs to slowdown on the hype. I know someone who says she got her hair done by her and she was very defensive about letting me see the install. Mind you, this girl and I have that type of relationship where we talk openly about hair.

SN said she could longer recommend Jadore Hair, probably because of
the quality issues people were having with Jadore not to mention the customer service.

Her braid pattern is just a whole bunch of braids going every which a way. .no direction.   Her celebrity "client " is venus Williams cousin, some girl on the disney channel, some chick that was on antm a.k.a potential nobodies.

Shocked Ms.Blue!

Look at you being all spicy. LOL

I think the main features of her styles are placing the wefts very, very close like Derry does and reverse wefting or reversible wefts whatever they're called now around the perimeter and the partings.

Her work based on what I have seen doesn't equate to what she is charging. Her installs have too much leave out. I want her to show an install that is very workable with minimum leave out....that would prove she has great talent. As far as her wigs, I saw a pic of a wig she did and lawd it didn't look like it was even made by a professional and she has the nerve to charge $500 for that ish.

Girl, I mean it's only so many ways you can braid for an install you know. LOL

She is a great stylist though. She just keeps connecting up with the nuttiest damn people which makes her look bad. LOL

She places her wefts very close.

Thanks LL! I like that pattern but my edges would look like crap after that install lol.

I don't understand the, "no edges out" styles with weaves or braids girl.

You can use the same pattern but leave you edges out or maybe like a 1/2 in-1 inch of your perimeter out so you can also wear it back off your face or in a ponytail.

Yeah, my edges would be snap/crackle/popped after that!!!

My preferred closure pattern is similar (but better of course).  I have the beehive pattern with the area where the closure is placed braided separately so the closure lays flatter.  I believe a smidge of hair in front of the closure makes it more natural in MOST cases.

Yeah I dont understand the whole braiding the 2-3 inches of hair.
Just because you can grip it doesn't mean you should.

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe it's tucked under but hopefully sewn under or removed. I think someone said she uses the swim caps.

I ain't gone hate because the sew in look good but I'm entirely too cheap to spend 975 + hair on an install. Hell that's a new outfit with shoes, my car note + detail, and the cost of a photograph to take pictures of me as I walk away with my fresh install and some money in my pocket.

Those comments tho.....
That wig is basic as hell and those folks praising her like she made it from the hem of Jesus's cloak.  No wefts under the cap, no ribbon wrapped around the base of those combs, etc...

I wanna stare this woman in the eyes, and ask her what medicine she's taking that has her seeing visions of Jesus coming down the mainline, and bestowing upon her the weavy right to charge over $50 for a mediocre install. That youtube video she posted with the shaved head had me googling Pearl necklaces on clearance to clutch.
