I know that I will be one starred but I don't give af because it only takes one helpful post to improve my life.

I learned soon after my move from nor cal to Ga that my deodorant was not adequate for this type of heat.

I used to use Secret conditioning solid but I switched to secret outlast clear gel. I hate how it smells but I need advanced protection...

What do you guys use that smells good and keeps you dry?

Dove- Original clean scent or the cashmere scent.

I really wish that I could find a deodorant from Whole foods that is also an antiperspirant. Sigh........

keep it real, you aint even lying. We ask some intrusive questions. But meh, I don't mind answering most of the time.

I enjoy showers more than baths. I think baths are kind of gross.

My favorite toothpaste is crest 3d white vivid something something

I use neutrogena anti aging face wash. I like it because it has alpha hydroxy in it.

I use plain ol regular brown ass listerine. I prefer that one because bacteria grow with glucose. So i avoid those flavored mouth washes.

I also wash my love garden with Summers Eve feminine wash everyday. Keeps down there nice and fresh.

Ummm

We are >>>>>HERE<<<<< on the baths!

To me, baths seems like stewing in a tub of your own dirts and juices. Utterly disgusting.

I'd much rather shower so all the filth goes down the drain.

I only bathe to relax, but I would never bathe to get or feel clean.

I love this deodorant. I started using it last year and I can not recall ever having a deodorant that worked so well with my body chemistry because I sweat sooooo easily.

And I live in Georgia so this heat don't be playing. It's like 73 at this moment.

I sweat A LOT. Its a good thing but my clothes hate me. Anything will work to stop me from smelling. I don't even really need to wear deodorant for that. Its the sweating that kills me.

I have to use Degree for men to keep my sweating down to a minimum.

FYI: I live on the gulf coast of Alabama. I know about some heat and humidity.

i take shower baths tho... dont judge me..lol. i sit in the tub.. and make the shower go...until the tub is filled with water.... and i've relaxed.. then i drain the tub...and take a regular shower..  (i only do these when im super stressed out and need of thinking time)

my favorite toothpaste.. I dont really have a fav. I only buy colgate though.. the particular toothpaste though goes by whats on sale..lol

I dont really have a fav. face wash. I really dont do anything special to my face. KNOCK ON WOOD. i have excellent skin though.. so its takes abuse like a champ.. and i still have glowy clear soft skin. lol. I fall asleep w/ makeup on.. way too much.

i use the same-- summer eve product on my 'gina.

I use brown listerine too-- it reminds me of my childhood.. no other reason.

as for deodorant-- In the winter/cooler months i use lady speed stick peach orchard blossom sometimes dove go fresh. (whichever of those are on sale)

in the summer/if I'm going on vacay to a super hot place I use mitchum flower fresh .. mitchum is stronger than a muthafer.

Im very into scents..lol

I dont use this... but if ppl have really strong sweating/odor issues under their arm.. my mom always recommends certain dri deodorant to her stinky patients.

These are the types of Georgia winters I'm used to.I have sooooo many Christmas day pictures outside with short sleeve shirts on. Growing up we RARELY had snow or weather below 30 degrees.
If so it was only for a few weeks and then back to 60s+.

I don't know where that snow and ice storms the past few years has come from. We ain't bout that life down here.

i'd start a convo about organic, natural lifestyles and talk about how i experimented with all natural deodorants and even tried using none but i couldn't stand being stank...then i'd be like, "girl, so what do you use Stern Smile?"

My deodorant discovery story is soooooo similar to yours and Samone's!

I was outside playing football with my brothers and male cousins. We came in all sweaty, but I had no clue I was stank and needed deodorant. All of a sudden, IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY, my mama goes, "Girl, go grab that Secret outta my bathroom and go take a bath. You smell like a can of soup!"

I didn't even know what a can of soup smelled like, but I was so insulted and embarrassed!

I've been keeping these pits coated ever since .

I will give Dove a try again so I can smell extra girly in the warm months.
