Does anyone have any idea what is going on here?

I found this instagramer from the sassy mitchell page. I am VERY impressed with the ponytails, looks very flat.

Sorry for the picture quality, I am at work.

It nothin complicated
A base with teeny tiny braids, a good amount of perimeter left out,
and a clean/flat fold at the end of each weft.

My sew ins always look like that and I do them myself.

Also the tracks need to be placed very close together. That helps with
the "seamless" look to it.

Maybe I'll do a tutorial one day so I can explain myself better.

Please do. I can never get the back quite right for a high ponytail.

I just did my hair Friday ,
So I'll see if someone else needs their hair done && I'll post a picture tutorial.

I will however post pics of my high pony when I do the thread on my new install.

I'll also add that it helps to slant your folds downwards, it makes them very flat.  I use a pattern similar to one that SewNatural1 on Youtube uses.  I can do a very high, very tight ponytail, and let my hair down and shake it with no tracks showing.

You can use handtied/micro wefts and about a 1/2 inch or larger perimeter of leaveout.

This as well!
I slant mines upwards and sew it tight before pulling
The next weft upwards (not sure if that makes sense)
It makes the tracks very flat!

I'm going to try and do one next week. I'm taking my
hair down to seal my wefts and I'll redo it and post pics, maybe a short video.

I've been weaving since I was a teen and the circular braiding pattern was all I knew in the beginning. I use a few different braid patterns now. Anyways, here are a few videos to help.

I am not in anyway associated with this salon. I studied the videos posted on their YT page to perfect my technique. Thank you.

Check out L10's youtube channel for more videos. They have a ton to learn from.
