My Round 1 begins January 1, 2013. Subcutaneous injections

Last year around this time I did a 42 day round with homeopathic drops and lost 23 lbs. Then my life fell apart and now here I am again. I was on another diet that was just as successful with the same rate of losses, but I wanted to go back to whole foods.

Another P3 correction day that works

Atkins Fat Fast 1000 calories

Step One: Eat Mostly Fat Begin with five 200-calorie feedings per day and follow for four or five days. Each item equals approximately 200 calories:

one ounce of macadamia nuts or macadamia nut butter

two ounces of cream cheese or Brie

one ounce of tuna or chicken salad with two teaspoons of mayonnaise served in one-quarter of an avocado

two deviled eggs made with two teaspoons of mayonnaise

two ounces of sour cream and two tablespoons black or red caviar

two and a half ounces whipped heavy cream topped with sucralose zero-calorie syrup

two ounces of pâté (check label for fat content)

two egg yolks (hard-boiled) with one tablespoon of mayonnaise

Step Two: Modify the Fat Fast If increasing the fat-to-carbohydrate ratio and cutting calories work, any dietary change in that direction might get the job done. Next, you can try four meals a day of roughly 300 calories for a total of 1,200 calories. That should work, too, and what it allows is definitely more appealing to the taste buds:

two ounces of beef chuck (do not drain fat) cooked in two tablespoons of olive oil

two scrambled eggs with two strips of nitrate-free bacon

two tablespoons of full-fat sour cream with a tablespoon of sugar-free syrup

one-quarter cup chicken or tuna salad made with two tablespoons of mayonnaise

three ounces of pâté (check label for fat content)

one-and-a-half ounces of macadamia nuts

Step Three: Return to Induction

How I lost 10 pounds in P4 with all the details hope this help.

Basically eat regularly everyday but Sunday and Thursday. Eat meat/protein on those days

On a Sunday - SD

Morning: pot of coffee with half and half

Snack: green tea

Lunch: more coffee

Dinner: P3 way to do a SD: fried it in butter and ate it with an apple, always lost more with an apple. as much as you can eat, any where from 16-18 oz. of meat.

then four days later - Tuna day, here are the details from a handout I have..

"TO AVOID A STEAK DAY:

This method is not meant to take the place of a steak day. It is only intended to drop some weight when you are getting close to a required Steak Day.

If you see a Steak Day drawing near, you can do the following, which will usually bring your weight down a pound or so the next day.

1) Drink lots of water that day;

2) Don’t eat until lunch;

3) Have a whole can of tuna (water packed), or chicken with mayo on either lettuce or celery for lunch;

4) Have a big portion of protein for dinner with a small salad and 0-1 carbohydrate dressing (ex. Ranch);

5) If you are extremely hungry, you could also have 2 eggs for breakfast."

Morning: pot of coffee and half and half

snack: hard boiled egg

Lunch: 6 oz can of tuna 1/4 cup of mayo and a cup full of celery

Dinner: steak 18 oz. with a small salad with some Ranch.

I did this cycle two times where I did a SD on a Sunday, four days later did the Tuna and so on and so fourth. And I did NOT exercise at all.

Hope this helps.

 ------------------------------------------------------------

If you’re curious, here's one of my menu's that I eat on reg. days and maintain.

Wake: Pot of coffee with 4T of half and half cal: 80

Bfast: Smoothie w/ 1 c of 0% Fage 1 C of blended strawberries: 210

snack: 1 oz of almonds and 1 cheese stick 220

4oz of chick

2 bacons

2 eggs

3 c of spinish

1/4 cup of dressing

Snack: hard boiled egg 70

Dinner

2T pesto

10 asparagus 445

Dessert: jay robb or shakeology 120

hello, hello!
My order of hCG doesn't seem to have shipped yet, but I had some homeopathic that's about to expire so I'll be doing sublingual this round. Or until I get the shipment. I actually had my most successful round on homeopathic. Go figure.

Round 1, P2 (Loading day 1) [menu: 2 slices pizza, salmon, frappuccino with whipped cream, full fat yogurt, and almonds....and the last wine i'll have for 42 days]
I just got back from christmas vacation w/ no scale. Official weigh in is tomorrow morning but it looks like I only gained 3-5 lbs. i was expecting 10

Toni
since you did a planned interruption, how long will you continue on p2?

i saw someone mention apps. any suggestions?

P3 Chicken Salad (use walden farms mayo or make your own to be P2 friendly)

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-GVJNiAJjRa8/TaSGoIGo85I/AAAAAAAAAVY/06VMLeg5qdo/s1600/chickensalad.jpg" rel="nofollow">
3 whole Chicken Breasts, cooked and chopped or shredded
½ cup Onion, finely chopped
½ cup Celery, finely chopped
1 Apple, finely chopped
½ cup Mayonnaise (just watch for sugar - my mom uses Duke's sugar-free mayo)
½ tsp Salt or to taste
¼ tsp Pepper or to taste
Garlic Powder – a pinch or to taste
Onion Powder – a pinch or to taste.

Mix together, chill and enjoy.

P2 Cabbage Meatball Soup

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-S5z4rn0nZPA/TXe7z8DuCCI/AAAAAAAAAQQ/S1Djm_O83wU/s1600/cabbagemeatballsoup.jpg" rel="nofollow">
I just threw this one together and looooved it!

1/2 cup Water
1/2 cup Fat Free Beef Broth
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
1-2 Tbsp tomato sauce, optional
2 cups Cabbage, chopped or shredded

Mix water, broth and spices. Cook cabbage in broth until done.

Mix meatballs and bake while cabbage is cooking:

P2 Chicken Cabbage Stir Fry

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wH203MIWRf4/TbRKzi5TF2I/AAAAAAAAAWY/Jh1HOthh46Y/s1600/chickencabbagestirfry.gif" rel="nofollow">

We ate stir fry on rice pretty often before I started HCG, and I was missing it, so I thought maybe if I chopped some cabbage finely, I could convince myself it was almost like rice. It wasn't, but it was still very tasty. This became one of my staple recipes. It's very filling!

Marinade:
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
2 drops  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0019LWTZS?ie=UTF8&tag=wasu081-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B0019LWTZS" rel="nofollow - Liquid Stevia
1-2 Tbsp  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EQ4Y4W?ie=UTF8&tag=wasu081-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B001EQ4Y4W" rel="nofollow - Bragg's Liquid Aminos
2 cloves Garlic, minced
chopped Onion if you like

Marinate 3.5 oz chopped up chicken while you chop cabbage.

Chop cabbage as finely as you can. I was able to get a pretty good shred with my knife. I used half of a small head of cabbage.

Stir-fry cabbage with a little water until cabbage is mostly done. Remove cabbage to a separate bowl. Cook chicken until done, and remove. Let remaining water boil until sauce thickens up some. Throw everything back in and toss to coat. Serve. YUM!

P2 Chicken Fingers

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qObr-WwBU0I/TX-35OdNIuI/AAAAAAAAAQY/rlf0ixLcRnY/s1600/chickenfingers.jpg" rel="nofollow">
3.5 oz Chicken Tenders (this is 2 tenders for me)
1 Tbsp Mustard
1/2 tsp Basil
1/2 tsp Oregano
1 Tbsp Bread Crumbs (you can crush up your melba toast or grissini, or just use whatever bread crumbs you have)

Preheat oven to 350*. Coat thawed chicken in mustard and set on baking sheet. Mix bread crumbs with herbs. Sprinkle half of the breading over the two tenders, then flip them over and sprinkle the rest on the other sides. Bake until done, about 15 minutes.

I put a little blob of mustard on my plate and added 3 drops of liquid stevia for a "honey mustard" dipping sauce. Yum!

P2 Chicken, Spinach, Tomato Soup

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-LxCcwWm2d94/TxwvkH_eFbI/AAAAAAAAAd0/nrCKI885jeo/s1600/chickenspinachtomatosoup.jpg" rel="nofollow">

Thanks to my friend Kristen for this recipe and the beautiful picture!

If you count the tomato as a fruit, it's not even rogue on HCG Phase 2.

Chicken, Spinach, Tomato Soup

8 oz fat free Chicken Broth
2-4 cups Water (depending how thin you like your chicken broth)
15oz can Diced Tomatoes
2 cups fresh Baby Spinach, washed and chopped
1 portion cooked, chopped Chicken (I used 1/2 chicken breast)
1/2 tsp minced Garlic
1/2 tsp Basil
1/2 tsp Oregano
Salt and Pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients into saucepan over med-hi heat, adding spinach last; it only needs to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
The original recipe calls for mini-tortellini, which you can easily cook separately and add to the soup if desired (for the rest of the family not on protocol).

P2 Deviled Eggs

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-V05X0Z80CnQ/TVwWLbjo4NI/AAAAAAAAALo/nXyzzV2oFH8/s1600/deviledeggs.jpg" rel="nofollow">
Dr. Simeons includes eggs as an option for vegetarians on Phase 2, and even though I'm not a vegetarian, I enjoy eggs as one of my protein options several times a week. These deviled eggs make a great lunch with a salad.

Deviled Eggs

Slice 4  http://myhcgcooking.blogspot.com/2011/02/hardboiled-eggs.html" rel="nofollow - hardboiled eggs  in half and remove the yolks. Discard 3 yolks. Mix 1 yolk with a small squirt of prepared mustard, pinch of salt and pepper, and a small splash of milk. Divide between 8 egg white halves and serve.

Rogue Alternatives: You can substitute  http://myhcgcooking.blogspot.com/2011/02/ranch-dressing.html" rel="nofollow - Ranch Dressing  for the milk, if you like. Sometimes I use two yolks instead of one, if I feel the need for extra protein.

substitute puffs and crisps for melba or grissini. does require oil so maybe p3 with almond flour

so for the "cornmeal" coating....i used a combination...
i used IP southwest puffs, IP cheddar crisps, Kay's Naturals - Sweet BBQ Snack Mix ( https://www.nashuanutrition.com/store/snacks-and-treats/kays-better-balance-sweet-bbq-snack-mix-1-bag.html" rel="nofollow - https://www.nashuanutrition.com/stor...mix-1-bag.html ) and Snackergy Potato Zippers ( https://www.nashuanutrition.com/store/snacks-and-treats/snackergy-potato-zippers-bbq.html" rel="nofollow - https://www.nashuanutrition.com/stor...ppers-bbq.html )

the reason i used this combination is that, i like a variety in my
snacks...so i open 1 of each of these bags, mix them all together
and then divided into 4 bags!! so 1 bag counts as my 1 restricted.

you can easily used any "breading" of your choice...
all southwest puffs, or a mixture etc.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/56800290@N02/8021455006/" rel="nofollow">

i crushed the bag of crisps...and added to a bowl, along with some
salt, pepper and 1 TBSP dried shallots and 1 TBSP soy parmesan cheese.
OMIT the soy parmesan cheese if you like, no problem.

then in another bowl, i used better than eggs, egg substitute
about 1/4 cup

dip your pattypan slices into the egg

http://www.flickr.com/photos/56800290@N02/8021454500/" rel="nofollow">

and then into the crumbs
and pan fry in 2 tsp olive oil

Spanish "Rice" (IP Tomato Basil Soup) [substitue ip soup with fresh tomato and basil]

Another totally easy, delicious and satisfying miracle. Shredded cauliflower + IP Soup and whatever else you want to add in makes a great meal thats easy to reheat if needed.

INGREDIENTS
Fresh Cauliflower Head (shredded/ grated)
IP Tomato Basil Soup
Spices & Veggies to taste (Cilantro, Basil, Salt, Pepper, Tabasco)
Water as needed

DIRECTIONS
1. Shred a head of cauliflower with a large cheese grater. You will not use the full portion, and can save some for another meal.
Add the portion you want to a microwave safe bowl. (I use about 1 to 1.5 cups)
2. Microwave for about 3 minutes (longer if you want a softer rice)
3. Stir in 1 packet IP Tomato Basil soup. When mixed, determine if you want to add any extra water.
3. Add any veggies or spices to your taste. I have used combinations of some or all of the following:
fresh basil, cilantro (from a jar), mini tomatoes, tabasco, cut bell peppers, chopped green onion, chili, jalepenos, chopped celery, mini tomatoes, pepper mix (black, white, green chili, pink), etc.
4. Heat an additional 30 sec.

COLORED PEPPERS & HAM SAUTE WITH SWEET COCONUT "RICE"
[[southern: dont have to use coconut oil, can substitute ham]]
sometimes the best dishes come from "scrapping the barrel" when there's nothing left at the end of the week to cook!! haha

http://www.flickr.com/photos/56800290@N02/7416931102/" rel="nofollow">

i know lots of IPeeps have made the cauliflower rice....however, instead of grating it...which is what i was going to do, as i was getting my box grater out of the drawer, i saw my old cheese grater....you know the kind....like they have at olive garden when they come around asking if you want cheese....with everything!! but i digress....anyway, i thought hmmmm....so i popped in a few small pieces of cauliflower and churned away...and into the bowl dropped the most perfect tiny pieces of cauliflower...very tiny almost grits size....(hmmmm cauliflower grits....another day).....it was like tiny rice!!

http://www.flickr.com/photos/56800290@N02/7416953824/" rel="nofollow">

maybe someone else already tried this...but i never knew and love how easy it was!!

http://www.flickr.com/photos/56800290@N02/7416953594/" rel="nofollow">

so i heated the pan...and used 1/2 tsp coconut oil....and added all the cauliflower and sauteed until lightly browned in a very dry pan...didn't add any other thing except salt and pepper...and OMWORD.....IT TASTED LIKE COCONUT RICE or toasted coconut vermicelli!!!!!

http://www.flickr.com/photos/56800290@N02/7416953144/" rel="nofollow">

i got so excited i forgot to take pics of the ham and peppers sauteing in the other pan!! hahaha but i sauteed some red and orange mini bell peppers sliced and some green onions in a pan with 4 oz. diced ham...once lightly browned i de-glazed the pan with about 1/4 cup 0/0/0 chicken broth. in the end, i plated it on each side, but ate it mixed!! i topped it with some fresh parsley and thyme from my herb garden!! whooop whoooop!!! YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love it when i make something soooo good for me that tastes sooooooo delicious!!!

so i made it again, and took some photos of the ham and peppers and green onions in the pan!! it was just as good as before!! this is a keeper recipe!!!!

ok new photos!!! this is sooooo good!!!

Southern Shrimp and Grits

4 oz cooked shrimp
1 tomatillo
creole seasoning or old bay seasoning
1/3 head cauliflower riced
veggies of your choice for veggie sauce
colored bell peppers and fresh parsley for garnish

make your creole veggie sauce...
http://www.flickr.com/photos/56800290@N02/7447315684/" rel="nofollow">

simmer veggies in a pan with 1 cup low sodium no fat chicken broth...this is a GREAT way to use up bits of leftover veggies...i used some shredded cabbage, 1 green onion, a piece of zucchini, some mini bell peppers, a few cauliflower florets, some roasted red pepper, 1 celery stalk, a few radishes, and some jalapenos and red pepper flakes cause i like it spicy!!! just about any veggie will work!!

http://www.flickr.com/photos/56800290@N02/7447315428/" rel="nofollow">

then scoop out your veggies onto a plate to cool....try not to eat them all...because they are sooo good even just like this!!! reserve the "veggie broth" for thinning out sauce if needed

http://www.flickr.com/photos/56800290@N02/7447314904/" rel="nofollow">

after cooled, puree the veggies in a blender and add more seasonings of your choice...like a dash of hot sauce and more creole seasoning!!! use a little reserved veggie broth as needed to make it a medium thick sauce. omg i can just eat this whole bowl just like this!!!!!!! so good!!! set aside and prepare cauli-"grits"

http://www.flickr.com/photos/56800290@N02/7416953144/" rel="nofollow">

saute cauliflower rice (i grate mine in a cheese grater) in a rather dry pan to toast....sprinkling with creole seasoning....set aside

saute the shrimp and diced tomatillo in some creole seasoning....i used Tony Chacheres Original Creole Seasoning
http://www.flickr.com/photos/56800290@N02/7447540072/" rel="nofollow">

then pour in your veggie sauce!!! oooh my!!!

plate your cauli-grits....top with shrimp and sauce and garnish with sliced colored peppers, parsley and a dash hot sauce!!!!!!!!

So happy to see this new thread.  I successfully did HCG a year and a half ago and lost 41 lbs after a 46 day round.  Gain almost half of that back after a very stressful year.

Just completed my two load days and looking for some support to stay accountable.  I look forward to join you all in your successful weight loss goals.

I'll start posting stats tomorrow or Friday.

I really want 34 for a 42 day round. I'll accept 30. Realistically, I'll probably get down about 21.

Hey ladies I'm taking the drops ( which of course I forgot!) I did my 3 days of loading.

What should I do when I forget the drops during the day? Should I skip the drops today or double up when I get home?

I have to set a reminder because forgetting the drops is one of my biggest problems.

I personally wouldn't double up. (my theory = You never want to try to overcompensate or flood your system with hCG. with homeopathic I dont think it will harm or  benefit you since it has much less hcg)
but i'd take my scheduled dosage when I got home.
you may feel a little hungrier today but push through it

So TOM came early. my cycle is always 28 days exact...so...hCG is IN. THE. SYSTEM.

I took my pics and measurements, they made me sad.
But I looked at my first round's before and afters and remembered that this is worth it.

Missy,
The last diet I was on taught me what I once hated: cooking! I can eat the same stuff everyday, but I think recipes will make this more enjoyable for me. I'm done with the recipe spam thoughLOL

I will also start lifting on Monday.

TOM is lingering for me too!!!  I used to be 28 days but now I'm like 32...wtf?? I'm like dayumm....... really really??? still going.....deep sigh.....

I'm slightly hungry but not too bad.  I'm trying to make it until 2pm before I eat but I may have to adjust.  I had an orange at 11am-cst.  I prolly need to drink some water but my distilled gallon is frozen.

I'm printing these receipes to add to my HCG/Workout manual!
I found an old workout journal from 2010.  I was doing HCG and leangains.  My lowest weight was 191.  I was on the verge of being "ripped" in muscle definition.  I'm going to look for those pics too.

Missy
I did a similar schedule my first round. 7am, 12pm, 6pm
On the one hand, your insulin levels will only spike 3 times a day, on the other hand, sometimes you just need that snack to push through to the next meal.
If you can go that long, I would do it.

Even though I'm only eating in an 8 hour window, after reading two books recently, I adopted the policy: eat when hungry, stop when not.  ((lol, you'd think I'd know that, but I really have never done it. I ate when I thought it was time))
So I end up eating lunch at 11, dinner at 7, whatever/whenever/however much snacks and liquids in between (of course I only eat the 2 servings of fruit)

Sometimes a change in diet can cause you to "detox". As I think back, I have had a couple of episodes of IBS type issues.  It went away after a day or so but I'm not sure what caused it.  I think mine was last round when I stopped cheating on protocol.  I hope you feel better.

I had a killer stomach ache last night.

Anyway -2lbs. Yaaay boi!

I've found that when I get on hcg, drops or injections, I get stomach aches. I believe it happens most when I slip and eat any fats. For example, today I thought I could sneak some parmesan cheese on my salad. My body was like, "LIAR!"

I think detoxing like Missy said may be it too.

Congratulations everybody

Jewelsnyc I had some stomach pain this morning and remember the same the last time I did HCG.  I would last a couple of minutes then went away, but maybe mines related to something else as it didn't seem like a bowel issue.

Correction to my previous post.  I'm actually on R1P1VLCD2 today yesterday was day 1. (i'm going to get the hang of it)
VLCD1 - -2.6 lbs.
VLCD2 - -3.2 lbs. only had coffee so far, going to be another late lunch.

don't have me blowing up yalls pm boxesLOL

So, good news is that my friends are thinking about going to AllStar Weekend, which happens to be my birthday weekend. Which motivates me more to stay on track.
Bad news is that last year when we went out of town for my bday, I was supposed to be on P3 and didn't do quite so well.

Anywho,
I ordered a blazer that I know can't fit now, but it will drive me to meet my goal and wear it in spring.

Missyo67 thanks for the encouragement.  I hope I can keep the momentum this first week cuz I know after the water weight loss and my TOM which is right around the corner, it's going to be harder to drop.

Today:
B: Coffee and water throughout day
L: Chicken breast, tomatoes with apple cider vinegar and an orange
D: Fish, baby cucumbers and strawberries

Enjoy your bday SoutherN, just be careful with your food choices.

Hi Ladies!

I am so pumped up for this round R3 of this year. I'm so pumped up I'm going to share a before pic and a current pic. Anyone else care to share some pics? It will be nice to look back on later Big smile

SouthernNtellect- To answer your question from the other day: I did a planned interruption but I'm considering this round my Round 3 so I will be doing a full 43 day round for P2.
Apps- I use one called HCG+. It's not free but I like. Tracks weight, measurements, if you took your HCG, water, meals, grocery list, pics, and some other stuff. Works well for me. I like that it keeps track of what day your on too.
NitaBug- Welcome! You will pick up on all the HCG lingo very quickly. And if you don't know...ask anyone here. We were all new to it once!
LovilyLocs- Welcome! The more the merrier Big smile And no worries on what you gained back before. I've been there...many of us have. It's all about us getting back up and trying again. So what day are you on now in P2? I'm trying to catch up lol.
JewelsNYC- Welcome! Can't wait to see your updates. Did you figure out how to remember your drops? Never mind I see that you figured it out! If I get hungry at night I try and drink green tea and lots of water. I've been known to grab a few celery sticks too. What type of Homeopathic HCG are you using? I don't think you should be this hungry..
SugaBrown11- I'm glad you're giving it another go ! I know you will be successful. Can't wait to read more about your progress!
Missy- Hey you! We are starting this round at dang on the same weight. :) I'm way too excited this round LOL Anyways...keep on checking on me I need it sometimes!
OK Whew! I think I got everyone Smile Congrats on all the great releases so far! Clap

Here is my update: LIW last round was 211.2. After going to Disney for a week and loading for a day my starting weight for this round is 219.6. I was just happy to start under 220. My goal is to release 35 lbs this round.
R3 P2 D2

Start Weight: 219.6
Today Loss: -2.6
Current Weight: 217
R3 total releases: -2.6

lbs to R3 goal: 32.4

Happy releases everyone!

TOM is lingering.  Not sure why.... My scale showed a .8 lb loss but it fluctuated back to my original weight when I weighed again.  So I'm taking it as a "no loss" day as I'm not gonna sweat the numbers since I'm still at about 1lb/day right now.  Gotta drink more water and track anything that touches my lips.

The Before was taken in July 2012 at 261 lbs. Yes I def gained a LOT of weight back after all the success I had on HCG 2 years ago. Oh well moving on Big smile

The current pic was taken last week at Disney. We were headed out so I just lifted up my shirt to take a pic cause I wanted to see if I could tell a difference. Not the best example of before and after especially wearing a scarf :/ but I can tell a difference. SO I'm going to post it to remind myself that I'm on the right track!

To all the insomniacs---- that used to be me up until a bit over a year ago. I've lived on 3-4 hour sleep increments for YEARS!!! I realized that sleep is related to hormones and overal well being. You MUST work on the sleep issue to have complete success with weightloss and OVERALL health.  Try increasing sleep time by 30 mins per day.  I'm not an insomniac but I still love my caffeine. LOL. No SF Red Bull though. LOL

I'm glad no gain but I am definitely on it.  TOM is still friggin lingering.  Something is up hormonally. Just watching and being aware.  I'm sure that is affecting the scale.  I expect better results since I'm regrouping.

Southern your results are Phenomenal.

CincygirlD What were your dosing issues? Are you concerned with refrigeration during work? Maybe you can use an oral syringe daily? I prefer once daily injections over other forms. I hyperventilated first time I mixed and did injections. Lmao. I had to reduce my dosage last round. Hunger is a sign of too high dosing. I'm down to 20cc

Hey ladies! I really have to make time to post over here daily. I will get better.

Toni thanks for the welcome. Looking good! Thanks for posting the pics. This really inspires me to continue on not mess up.

Southern wow congrats on the lost! Doing well Miss Lady. Lead the way.

Nitabug customs is a mess. I thought they would never release my package. It took 5 days then they released it so it should be on the way. I'm excited for you.

MissyO I think we’re in the same boat this week.  Release has crawled to a snail and TOM is here and clowning.  That’s ok I’m going to hit the gym to tomorrow to release some of this frustration.

Jewel’s congrat’s on the lost and I too get this crazy insomnia.  (Usually brought on by stress).

Cincygirl I hope you’re able to start up again soon.

Release on Friday 1/4  -6oz (yeah I’m counting ounces)

Release on Saturday – 0 lbs

VLCD 5 - Total Release -7.8 lbs

I'm happy to see the scale move. However, not sure what is going on with TOM. It's still going and going and going.....Cry Very weird not sure if its the HCG or the fibroids.  I don't feel bad but this is very unusual.

@Lovilylocs--- Just hang tight and after TOM leaves you'll be back to steady losses.

I'm missing somebody.......sugabrown.... how u doing??

@ SouthernIntellect--- mentally, I'm ok.  Not having hunger issues.  I do crave sweets but not that often.  I'm probably more concerned with my extended TOM.... I really want to start dropping the POUNDS but I'm trying not to get caught up in the moment of the slow losses.  I have had stress (dad was admitted to the hospital for chest pains and I live 500 miles away) and I steeeeel don't like my job. I don't know what is going on right now but I will take it! My body is getting rid of this fat faster than I know how to process it right now. I know things are going to slow down. and even out but whoa what a ride. I can taste ONEderland Smile

Southern- Day 7 and 11 lbs released!!!!!! ClapClapClapClap You are my motivation for today Smile

Mentally... I'm feeling really good right now. The weight is coming off fast. BUT that is when I usually start messing up. I start feeling myself thinking I look good and I stop. That's why I'm going to continue posting pics the whole way through because I don't want to forget that I have a long way to go. A very long way. So I'm going to continue to feel good just always remember that when I get to my actual goal I will feel even better.

Missy- Great releases! Clap I don't think your releases have been slow at all especially with your job stress and dealing with your dad being in the hospital Unhappy. You have a lot to deal with. 4.6 lbs in 6 days is great! And you are so right about getting enough sleep. I'm working on that!

LovilyLocs- What stagnant stage?? 5 Days and 7.8 lbs released! That is quite over a lb per day. You are doing AWESOME. Clap

missy, i believe it's hormonal for you

but maybe we can try to rule out other things

do you put any salt in your food? how much water do you drink? ever tried a diuretic (or as the old people say: water pill)?
are you drinking those sf red bulls?

i also think the exercise could be causing your muscles to retain water. Do your measurements. They have probably gone down.

Lastly, if the measurements have not gone down, try not exercising for a few days to release some of that water

Also, I was just reading on the hcg forum, a lady who's been on the diet for like 2 weeks but only lost 2 lbs. (her load way). She was previously a chronic dieter. The mods said that likely her metabolism was very screwed.  They also said Dr. Simeons suggested a chronic dieter may need to load for up to a week.

I'll be looking on the hcg forum for other suggestions

eta: for a few days, take out the beef and tomatoes. see if that helps

this lady has been going to a clinic and on hcg 100+ days Shocked She's doing a doctor supervised 900 calorie hcg protocol. Confused Started in November. Took a 10 day break after 40+ days and then restarted P2. She's lost 40ish pounds.

Not sure how i feel about her regimen but I'm following her to see how she does in maintenance/stabilization. She quit her first maintenance after <10 days because she was gaining.

Southern--- Thanks!!!

It is part hormonal and part me Stern Smile. I do know that I have HCG/VLCD creep.  Part of that is my own fault.... I was over my calories (yesterday).  I went to brunch with my sister at a friends house and I ate shrimp/green beans but had a bite of something non-protocol (HCG Creep/CHEATING).  So that is part of the +1lb.  The other part is I started HCG only 2 days after my period started so I could start on Jan1st.  Shoulda waited until TOM was gone.  Below is what I found so far and what I plan to do.... I didn't inject this morning (forgot) and glad I didn't.

The treatment for this condition is this:
1. Stop taking the hCG but continue the Phase 2 diet.
2. Wait until your period stops (2-5 days) and then begin taking the hCG again.
Hunger pangs may get rough as you go into days 3-5. If you must have something, eat an egg white or an apple.

I was gonna suggest the red, but thought it may be too soon for an injection interruption. Good to know there's a solution.

I would skip the apples as they have the most carbs of the fruit we are allowed.

is there anything we can do to motivate you to avoid any creeps? I know it will be hard the next 2-5 days without the hCG.

I'm so happy that you decided to post Missy. You have held down so many people on this HCG journey over the years. I would be sad if you didn't post!

TOM is messing you up. It's hormonal. Having no hunger is def a silver lining. Your dose is right. TOM just needs to move the hell on Angry

I know it's hard not to get discouraged when the scale isn't moving in the right direction. But I know it's going to start going the right way.
