Left for college and transitioned from dorm to apartment.

At a certain point my mother felt that a woman should have her own space but I am always always welcome home .
My father missed me a lot and they always check on me.

My mother calls me 7 times a day and if I don't answer she calls my friends , my so , my apartment manager the
whole nine. She worries a lot

They pay for it

But I come home often.im on a break from work and school so I came back to my hometown

it's a blessing and a curse.
i LOVE the freedom and i needed to get away from home to grow,
but it's sucked away so much money already.
i don't plan to even start looking to buy until after i get a masters, so it's kinda wasteful.

I live with my mom since I'm in nursing school right now. It's nice to pay <500 for rent just to help out. I think I will stay here until I get married. I will move us to a better apartment or maybe a condo when I graduate.

19.  They tell everyone I was like 16 though so apparently that's how they felt LOL  They must have known the magic words to say to a child to keep them from every returning, "You'll be back."  That reverse psychology worked like a dream.  Never went back.

OMG yessss.
My Dad said the same thing.

I've been out since 2005.

I stayed for about 2.5 weeks while I was closing on my house in 2009.

I wish I could have stayed till I was married (that would be ideal)  but my parents are a bit much.

Ya rent is so cheap. I found a nice duplex in louisiana for like 598. 2 bedroom 2 bathroom newly built. It was in the country about an hr away from baton rouge and 1.5 hr from new orleans. So me and my roommate split that so I was paying less than 300 dollars for rent.

But say someone is making 50k in NY and 50k in SC.
It spends a lot better here.

18.

Moved back home at 26 and moved back out at 27.

My mom felt the same at 18 as she did when I moved back out at 27...that the world is too dangerous for me to not be under her roof...if you only knew the irony. She still likes to pay my rent so it's fine by me.

Yes, I know that. What I was saying is more than likely though, that 50k is decreasing when you get to sc. If you have a job that's paying you a certain amount in one place, you likely won't be paid that much somewhere else so the drop in rent won't mean much if you aren't making the same amount of money.

If you want to and are financially, emotionally, and mentally ready to, you should do what you see fit.
