Good potato salad though?Cry

4 and a half years. Wanna get him a nice watch or a new pair of shoes and new business attire. Take him shopping basically, since I'm sure I won't be able to find someone his size to try them on for me. Honestly, I haven't been very creative with my thinking lately. I wish I can do better/more :(

a few months= 3 mo's. we've known each other for 10 years and have talked on and off during that time, tho. i'm thinking 200-300 bucks.

@soarlikecruz- congrats on the 4 and a half years. you should get him the watch, that's what i want too. a year worth of chocolate?! was it like a giftcard to a candy store or an entire bucket of chocolate lol?

whoops, 3 1/2 years. It was a lil mountain of chocolate goodness in the middle of the living room right there... and the candy was there tooTongue you think? i'm only hesitant about the watch cus this can be people can be shady around here, though I'm certain it's not something he'd wear all the time (hopefully). What are you thinking of getting your gf?

James - i don't think a few hundred is over the top. I care about someone, im going to give them a great gift regardless of how long we've been together.

for me...shiiiiiidddddd this nucca is acting up. right now, i ain't even thinking about gifts for him.

I agree; I gave my ex on his birthday a gift card of $150 and we were together for only a month. We lasted about 3 years together.
When you care about someone, the amount of $$$$$$ you spend on them doesn't matter.

Ok that different.. You can spend the hundreds..

Actually I did something similar last year for my boo.. I got him a nice watch that was over a 120. We have been friends for about 6 years prior to getting together.

This year, my gift is just under a 100 because it's something that I got one of for myself. He just asked questions about mines, so I ended up getting him one of his own.

For me, price doesn't matter. I'm big on Christmas so if it's something that I want you to have, you're going to have it.

My boo and I have been together for nearly four years now. I plan on spending a couple hundred.

my husband and i have been together for about 6yrs. we're not exchanging gifts this year, just buying for the kids in our families and making sure we have all the baby stuff we need.

i'll probably make him a fancy dinner, though.

james, your gifts sound very nice! I think she'll be very happy.

Hmmm I really don't know. It's probably one of those situations that will just fade into the horizon with no one really asking or caring to ask what went wrong. I don't care either way....I already know he's not "the one" I guess I just deal with him cause I have nothing better to do right now....ConfusedLOL
