I love those

I'm trying to get rid of some lines on my neck. I am not even 30 and I already have those Cry
I'm still researching but I'm leaning towards Clinique Repairwear.
I'm also considering getting that SK II magic water or whatever is called, I forgot Tongue, that may help with fine lines. Oh! I also need to make my pores less visible!
For my hair, I might do another Brazilian keratin treatment, but the last one was in October.

I'll put on some makeup but doubt I'll do too much because I'll be running after a kid the whole day. I want to be comfortable and be able to sit on the floor. There is a dress I saw that I would like to wear but I guess I'll have to wait a little longer.

I would like to get my hair done and ordered some hair but that turned out to be a scam. *sigh* Wear a wig I suppose.

Taking my box braids out and will do a protein treatment. My silicon mix bambu came yesterday, first time using it so hopefully it works for me *fingers crossed* I'll be ending my 12wk stretch the week after. I just got my bundles of hair, I'll be coloring it and installing by the 22nd.

As for my hair, I'm currently wearing a sew in and I have been sewn up for a month. Going to order more bundles of hair. Going to ombre it. Ppl seem to love the auburn color I used to ombre this hair.. In two weeks, ill take down, wash, deep condition, and get more hair reinstalled. Only because my braids are now loose under my sew in.

Has anyone ever used henna for relaxed hair? My hair is technically underprocessed and it still has looser kinks but I really want to henna it. I'm transitioning without a bc this time. I think.. I'll come back to this again this time next year and make a decision.

I'm not sure what I want to do w/ my hair. Right now, it's in mini twists and idk if I want to redo them or do something else. I need something low maintenance. I think I need to trim my ends also.

for xmas, I think I want some lipsticks, esp. a really nice red one.

I'm gonna heat train my hair. I may get a sew in. I'm tired of natural styles, and too lazy for too much upkeep anyway.
I'm gonna go to sephora and get that MUFE foundation. As soon as I get in the mood to go out to Northpark.

My skin is breaking out. I don't have a clue why, and it's only one side. I've been avoiding sleeping or using my phone on that side.
I've been using shea butter, and dove nourishing body wash. My chronically dry skin hasn't been giving me problems for the past few months, so I'll keep it.

Don't celebrate christmas but my birthday is New Yrs Eve

Bout to deep condition and put in some box braids or Senegalese twists until then.
If they are still fresh, i'll leave them in.

Trying to lose 10 more pounds this year. I'm 10 pounds down already in 3 weeks with lower carbs and working out. I love the way I feel and my body is looking and feeling a bit better. I probably won't make my 25 pound goal by the end of this year unless I get hardcore with my low carbs and lose 15 pounds in a little under 10 days, but 20 pounds will work and I know if I get those pounds to fall off before Jan 1st, that I can start working on a new wardrobe. I'll be halfway to my goal.

As for my face, I just bought my stuff to make my vitamin c serum. I just need to purchase a small glass jar to put it in.. my hyperpigmentation is finally starting to fade after a year of causing me heartache.. :-(

Weaved up right now itching to take down missing my curls but before sew in I pretty much wore it straight for past month. Trying not to get too addicted to the flat iron. Plan to color hair blue black bored of the red..as far as products still using dove organix and occasionally garner. Natural oils and sulfur for my scalp until I get more tea tree oil. Bought a lot of new makeup so I will be playing with that to keep my mind off of my hair. Stopped using proactiv using dove and cetaphil with aveeno moisturizer.

^^^No. Not usually. I don't know if it's stress or the weather change but for the past month my skin just went nuts. I got a real bad acne breakout followed by dryness. So I'd been looking for something to get it back together and this combo seems to have worked.

The vitamin c serum due to my scarring and hyperpigmentation.
I want to try something to get rid of these lines on my neck...they are make me look older
I am starting a new exercise routine with a fitness hoop from Hoopnotica...I want to lose about 10 to 20 pounds (plus detoxing)
Regular exfoliation, not every other day, but EVERYDAY.

I want to try and be more experimental with hairstyles next year, while maintaining my hair underneath.

NO MORE chemical filled toothpastes and deodorants. From now on, I am making my own (with fabulous results btw)

Sure thing!

Toothpaste:
Borax (50 acres and a mule brand)
Peroxide (food grade17.5% strength ONLY)
Baking Soda
Essential oil (one drop of your choice- preferably clove, lavender, or peppermint)

Deoderant:
Baking Soda
Cornstarch
Coconut oil
Essential Oil (lavender, rose, neroli, frankencinse, orange, and ylang ylang are wonderful)
(A SPLASH of distilled water if you want it less powdery.)

Pour into an empty deodorant container and let sit in the fridge for about an hour to harden the mixture, and VOILA!) Big smile

You can use the peroxide by itself as a mouthwash, just make sure you dillute it first. It's excellent.
Your mouth does not get dry lol..
It will fizz up due to the peroxide but it's killing the germs and whitening your teeth at the same time Cool

I wish I could use black soap
I find that some ingredient in it makes my skin very dry, and sensitive. It burns the top layer of my skin off, and then my skin burns really badly when water or product touches it. I don't know of it is the palm oil or the plantain skin.
I see people raving that black soap has stopped their acne. Jeez, I wish.

I'm using a new makeup now...Mehron. BEST MAKEUP EVER. Their Celebre full coverage foundation is the sh*t, especially if you have dry skin!! OMG, their color range is HUGE, it's cheap, and it doesn't have a lot of chemicals in it.

They also have a tattoo cover ring/ single palettes that is thick/heavy enough to cover bruising/scarring on the body. I use it to cover a scar on my hand and I am amazed. It looks like a second skin. This will def. be a staple in the spring/summer....I can now wear short sleeve shirts.

Try their 5 gloss palette in Dance in Africa. The brown featured in there is good too.

Does anybody here deep condition more than 1x a week?

I deep condition once a week but my hair is still...dry. I don't know if it is the weather or maybe I just need a better moisture conditioner. Disapprove

Check your moisture/protein levels. There has to be a good balance of both or your hair has the potential to feel dry and straw-like.

But, too much protein will make it feel dry and straw-like as well.

Ouch

That explains it.

I have been deep conditioning with homemade protein treatments. I will have to switch to using it every other week, alternating with a moisture treatment.

Thanks Skittles Heart

Im off to find a moisture conditioner recipe...

Y'all are going to be some classy lipstick wearing ladies this month lol

I'm going to add castor oil to this month's to do list for my hair. Tried it tonight after a year or so of not using it and I like it. Maybe it will help get the shed hair out easier.Angry
