I saw this video a while back. I can see why she'd use kanekalon being that the style is on a little girl though.

I can see the practicality of it.

That bulky invisible part-esque thing, though. You would need hella help taking it all out.

Why didn't she just give the girl a leaveout to cover the braids? She had enough hair

Its a protective style. This winter weather is rough on natural hair. Even as little as the leave out.

Russell hired me to police those who STAR these non-sensical threads!!!He said I should feel free to point them out!!

there's no leave out because its a protective style , technically all the hair should be put away to get all the protection it needs, my leave out knows best.  i mean it's a cool technique but uh nah thanks , it's nice that she can pull it back like in the picture at the beginning.

The style is cute for a little girl...I am thinking about doing a few strands of that style for myself...

I think it would be cuter with curly hair because then maybe it could cover that horrible part some.

I love the finished product minus the part.

When I was a little girl I got this style (crochet braids) very often with curly hair.

okay, we all understand that is a protective style for children.

But the center part does not look natural at all..

To the uneducated eye?  well, i could easily see this kid's head on "Media Take Out", or "Children of Walmart"..
