I've been YouTubing and there are some pretty informative vids along with blogs.

I've used one called vita-k. I think it worked ok.

I went to a med-spa place and she said depending on the reason you have dark circles, there may be no hope except fillers. Of course she was trying to sell them lol.. but she explained it because she said the skin may be very thin down there and so it is just showing what is underneath, blood vessels and all that. The fillers help plump up the skin under there

ALSO, some people have deeper set eyes and it could be a shadow

Cucumbers and cucumber juice are supposed to be helpful, I tried it but not consistently enough

@ Lite brite,  thanks for your input and info. Of course she was trying to promote fillers, LOL....

Vita-k? never heard of it, cann I pick it up at the drugstore?
For me cucumber juice, or the cucumbers themselves, help with puffiness, not the dark circles...  they are still there sometimes and I don't like weaing pounds of makeup...I heard that raw caffeine stimulates circulation... and ginseng does that also....maybe I could make a ginseng mask....has anyone used ginseng on their face? ( Random question I know)

Here is the vita k stuff
  http://www.amazon.com/Vita-K-Solution-Professional-Dark-Circles/dp/B0014R2YRA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1331769367&sr=8-1" rel="nofollow - http://www.amazon.com/Vita-K-Solution-Professional-Dark-Circles/dp/B0014R2YRA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1331769367&sr=8-1

they also have a smaller bottle as well for cheaper on amazon. As you can see the reviews are mixed. Maybe I'll try it again, my main thing I want to get rid of is discoloration (red) on the outer corners of my eyes. I have a hard time trying to figure out if they're scars or if its coming from underneath. They used to be dark brown and I'm not sure if the short time I used mederma changed their color or if its because I lost all of my tanned color this winter and so they show as red now instead of brown LOL

but in the mean time, I'm in love with my "covergirl & olay simply ageless concealer" It works great for me with just one coat (and no foundation). I like it a lot better than the Mac and Lancome ones i tried

Hmmm....red instead of brown? Does it look like your eyes are swollen sometimes? I have that problem sometimes as well. IS that your complexion in the foundation you put up? Because I used concealer once and it made me look chalky, a makeup artist said that I would still need foundation.....GEEZCry

Ok thanks I'll have to look into the one you posted. And no mine never really get puffy (although I would think they should! I eat an incredible amount of salt and sleep like 3-4 hours a night lol).. And nope that's not the color of the concealer I used, I'm actually more pale than that.

I had walked by them at Target yesterday to see if they had some to match dark skin ( I wasn't sure what color your skin is but I was thinking about this thread), and I didn't see too many dark ones... but they might have more at Wal-Mart and stuff. That sucks about having to wear foundation with it if your not a foundation kind of girl Cry. You can check in the makeup section of this forum to see which concealers ladies are using that come in dark enough colors not to have to wear with foundation though

I use the Black opal without any foundation and I love it! I have a dark skinned woman and I use mahogany Black Opal. I bought Black Opal at my local Beauty supply store for less than 5 bucks! I hope this helps. Take care.

I was told the dark circles under your eyes are from blood cells/vessels that turn this color darker almost like a bruising for example. I too would be interested in a good referral for this type of cream. I have tried Sephora's cream in the past with no success. I do know it needs to be a cream designed for getting rid of the circles under your eyes (not to be confused with skin lightening creams). There is a specific ingredient to help these blood vessels and they are not the ingredients normally found in a lightening cream.

Not everything works for everyone, and that's because everyone's dark circles/puffiness is caused by something else. I just found out that allergies can cause dark circles! :(

For me, I've been using this stuff:

It takes a long time to work to full potential, but it actually has been working miracles for me. I'd say give it at least 2 months, maybe longer depending on how bad the dark circles are, before you see real results. The small bottle lasts about a month using it twice a day. :3

Before I used that, I used a argan/jojoba oil and body lotion combination under my eyes twice a day to kick start results. It actually worked much faster than this stuff, but I wouldn't use it long term because I'm not sure what it could do to your skin under your eyes or even your eyes themselves.

I used ULTA's beauty smoothie body creme and Proclaim's natural 7 oil argan oil. Mix it in your hand and smooth in under your eyes twice a day. WILL burn like hell if you get it in your eyes. Like I said, I'm not saying if it will or will not damage your eyes any, so use at your own risk. I just mixed those two based on the ingredients listed because I knew they would hydrate without breaking me out. I used for two weeks and my dark circles were about half gone by that point. Freeman's Vita K has gotten them almost completely gone after that in a month and a half.

Yes, I am planning on getting fillers under my eyes by late August. I will do before/after pics also.

Try using vitamin k gel tabs under the eyes.

I have had dark circles under my eyes for the last year. Stress, & rubbing my eyes once I wake up.

I started using concealer & makeup from mac, the kind that lighten dark spots while you wear it. It worked, I used it until I was all the way out.

I hated makeup all my life up until now.

But I got a mac rep to help me, each morning I put just a tad bit
of concealer under my eyes & blend.

It only takes a month just as long as you get a bit of sunlight while wearing the concealer.

Overall mac is just a little bit heavy, but I may continue with the concealer.

@ OP i dont know if u wanted an actual solution to remove dark circles or camoflage,

but if you need to get rid of it, Vitamin C serum is what you need to get rid... It will even it out and brighten up the area...

I use Obagi Vitamin C 5% serum which is just for the eye area and it does the job and does it well....

I no longer use any form of makeup or concealer under my eyes...

I have found Avon products to be great! Their ANEW line works well for evening out the skin tone and those dark circles we tend to get under our eyes. Their concealers work well too without having to add foundation.
Here's my reps info and you can have the products sent directly to you.

I use a lot of Avon products too, but I don't like their eye creams or their concealers. I'm using a concealer from Amway, but I noticed that my Revlon Colorstay does a good job at hiding dark circles too!

You have to eat healthy food with vitamins like vitamin C,E and K.Proper sleep can help to reduce the dark circles under eyes.Sunscreen is good for it with SPF 30 to prevent dark circles.Avoid oil based cosmetics.Remove eye make up before going to bed.Sugar is not good and is not a good source of energy.

One main thing I would say is drink more water..
Keeping your body hydrated is important for your kidneys...
and a dehydrated body is reflected on your face and undereyes

If that does not work then adding more hydrating foods like watermelons and cucumbers.
and if that does not work, it might be best to see a naturopathic doctor...

You can treat your dark circles around the eye by using some products that can be found on your kitchen like cucumber, potato, green tea bags, and spoon. You should also drink lots of water everyday and avoid stress. Sleep on time and exercise at least 5 times per week.

Well,I don't think there are any products than can erase the dark circles under eyes.Maybe you should change some of your daily habits.

I've tried a lot of eye creams and most of it doesn’t work well. my good friend told me about an antiaging cream she got from online store is made from natural ingredients - and she fell in love with it so I went online and ordered it myself from their website - I also fell in love with it ...the cream works, you should check this out.. http://www.antiagingsolution.org/ - Antiaging Cream

Sometimes I also have them when I don't have enough sleep but as I have heard this may be a signal of some internal problems either as well as bags under eyes. I have found a very useful article about skin care where you can try some recipes  https://ambrossimo.com/bags_under_eyes-treatment/ - https://ambrossimo.com/bags_under_eyes-treatment/
I like the recipe with the tea bags as it is very easy to apply and cost nothing!) Try it!
