So I'm starting this topic.  Lets see if it works out and lasts.  I know alot of us are doing different things to reach our goals(dieting, pills, etc) and so we usually hang around in that topic.  Well I was thinking how about we use this topic only to check in.  Lets put our starting stats and then come thru once a week or however and just update everyone on your progress.  I think this will help keep us motivated.  what do ya'll think?
I love reading about progress and lbs lost!!

So I'll go first! I'm very embarassed of my weight but to be successful I must admit the truth, so here goes:

Regimen:Bethel s30, slimfast, securemeal shakes, 400 situps a day, run a mile on track 6 days a week. Just started running 4 days ago though.

Cardio Daily (Elliptical/Treadmill/Stairclimber/Inside Track/Outdoor Track)
30-60 minutes sessions
(If need be I take a rest day.... and don't feel bad about it)  Have to listen to my body
 
Strength Training:  Starting this week with AM workout with weights at home.  I have a workout from diet.com that I have put together and I also have one that I used from Sparkpeople.com.
 
I will increase reps and intensity as my body responds to the exercies;
 
Diet/Exercise Schedule:   This is my proposed schedule for the start of school and while not working.  Once I secure a job ofcourse my schedule will change to exercise in the PM only.
 
8:00am     Strength Training
9:00am     Protein Smoothie
10:30am  Walnut/Almonds about 10-15 for snack
10:30am  To the gym for cardio 45 minutes
12:00pm   Veggie Salad/Steamed or Boiled Veggies baked Chicken/Tuna Kit
1:30pm     Protein Smoothie
4:30pm     Fruit/ Couple slices of deli turkey
7:30pm     Avocado/Cilantro/Garlic/Onions and Whole Wheat crackers
 
Plenty of water all day always working towards a gallon daily.
 
Diet aids:  Mega Green Tea with Hoodia

regimen: I'm on the low carb vegetarian diet by rose Elliot, it exactly the same as atkins but vegetarian, I only managed to exercise once during the last week cause of induction flu, but I'm step stepping it up this week cause I'm outta the haze!

I'll be doing Friday updates since I told my husband to hide the scale from me.  I became to obsessed with weighing several times a day!

Current weight: 224
Total lbs lost as of what date: 8/20/09  14 lbs
How many lbs till goal: 39 lbs
Changes in regimen: haven't had as many meal replacements. one a day and if its too late i'll drink one as my dinner.  missed breakfast the last two days, I know bad girl.  I'm only down 3 lbs since Sunday.  Rest of regimen still the same.  Eating more protein though and less carbs when I can.

Regimen: Just ordered clen, so waiting for it to arrive.
My current typical regimen is

Cardio: 4-5 times per week (daily goal is 3 miles on the Elliptical machine in 20 minutes or less)

Weight training 3 times per week divided up as follows:
Monday - Back/Bi
Wednesday - Legs/Shoulders
Friday - Chest Tri


In January 2007, I was at my heaviest ever - around 175 lbs. By March of 2007, I was down to 157. I was in a serious relationship May 07 - Sept 08 and gained some back. After the breakup, I got back down to my current weight of 153 and holding steady (sometimes dips to 150). I want to finally get rid of those last 10 lbs or so, thus why I ordered the Clen. Good luck to me

My first check in!
 
Current weight: 160 lbs.
Total lbs lost as of what date: 2 lbs. since last Sunday (8/16)

Changes in regimen: I didn't do anything this week. I only took SS for two days, then stopped. I'll start again later on this week.

i was feeling lonely and sad tonight so i decided to go to the gym instead of raiding the fridge..

worked out for about 45 mins and im feeling a lot better...

we can accomplish our goals if we make better choices...

quick update...got a lipotropic shot and B12 shot today...will continue to get one once a week while taking 2 Lipo pills a day...

im also still taking my Phentermine and CLA/GLA....they said this should not interfere with each other and that they actually recommond taking the phentermine with the lipo shot and b12...

ur thoughts?

Week 1 Check In 8-26-09:
 
Start Weight: 215.6 lbs
Current weight: 204.8 lbs.
Total lbs lost: 10.8 lbs (YAAAAAY!!!)

Changes in regimen:Aimed for 1500 calories or less. Since i was taking Phentermine i skipped alot of meals cuz i wasnt hungry. Worked out Tues, Thurs, Sun, Mon and Tues nite.
Goal for next week: My measurments are the same so hopefully some inches off my tummy. My boobs are smaller and that is my best asset. I hate when i lose them! But no more skipping meals. Trying to make better meal choices so when im off the Phentermine i can still maintain my weight.

Comments: I do feel better. Im sad that im already losing my boobs. But i think the 10 lbs is all water weght. Wish my weigh wouldnt fluctuate. Im going to weigh myself again before going to bed tonight.

I never weigh myself, I only go by measurements and my dress size. I don't really pay attention to the scale, I just need my body to have lots of lean muscle (which is getting there!) that can be visibly seen and no fat pockets (love handles, pooch etc). I'm just concentrating on my mid-section and lower body for weight loss.
 
 
Start Date: 7/6/09 - 6th July 2009

Beginning measurements: Waist - 27 1/2 ins, Top of waist aka love handles - 31 ins, Pooch aka lower abdomen - 36 ins, Hips 41 1/2 ins, Thighs - 26 1/2 ins, Under bust - 33 ins
 
Total dress sizes to lose for goal: 3. Want to go from 9/11 (12 - 14 uk) to 5/7 (8 - 10 uk).
 
Total dress sizes lost so far: 1. Gone from from 9/11 (12 - 14 uk) to 7/9 (10 - 12 uk) in 7 weeks
 
Current measurements (as of  23rd August): Waist - 26 1/2 ins, Top of waist aka love handles - 30 ins, Pooch aka lower abdomen - 33 1/2 ins, Hips 40 1/2 ins, Thighs - 24 1/2 ins, Under bust - 32 1/2 ins
 
Goal measurements (by Dec 2009 - God willing!):   Waist - 24 ins, Top of waist aka love handles - 28 ins, Pooch aka lower abdomen - 30 ins, Hips 38 - 40 (I still want a lil booty! LOL!), Thighs - 22 ins, Under bust -  30 ins
 
SUPPLEMENT Regimen:  I took Pomegrante Super Slim for 2 weeks then stopped becuase I was unhappy with the 'unlisted' ingredients - namely Subartramine and a banned laxative.
 
I have since begun CLA/GLA comboe daily and will take for a month, then take 2 week breaks in between until I either reach my goal measurements or finish my 3 month supply.
 
If I take the entire 3 month supply, I will not buy anymore  weightloss tablets and just use coconut oil daily to keep the pooch from returning.
 
I aslo drink fat burning/cleansing/anti-oxidant teas in the week: Oolong Wu-Yi - Lingzhi mushroom - Green tea.
 
I already take a  vitamin supps for general health, beauty and hair/nail growth: Feroglobin iron supplement, Biotin, B-complex, Vitamins A, C, E (different caps and strengths), Evening primrose oil, MSM, Silica, Folic acid, Omega 3-6-9, Calcium, magnesium and D combo. I don't take these solidly without taking some breaks. I also try to have a lot of vitamins and nutrients in the food I already eat.
 
 
 
DIET Regimen: Atkins/Low G.I combo diet 5x a week (eating >20 carbs a day, low sugar, lots of pulses and veggies, 2 litres of water, slimming teas 3x a day - Lingzhi, Oolong Wu-Yi and Green teas, nofood after 7 or 8 pm unless absolutley have to. Eat low fat yogurts, soups and crackers).
 
My main meal in the working week is a medium salad at lunch time with fresh squeezed orange juice. Lots of beans, chick peas, sunflower seeds, raw veggies in the salad. No dressing. No mayo. No chaser! LOL! I have one banana daily to make up for depleted potassium, an apple and plum or nectarine. I have one ACTIVIA low fat yogurt every day to help with digestion.
 
I only drink fruit juices that are packed with vitamins and/or anti-oxidants, namely; grape, pomegranete, carrot blend, blueberry, cherry, rasberry, orange, pineapple, guava, blackcurrant or cranberry juices. I try to do only pressed juices and not made from concentrate and no added sugar. Check the labels ladies!
 
I eat every few hours to keep my metabolsim going and I eat my major carbs in the morning at breakfast so I have all day to burn it off! My breakfast is: thin wrap bread with filling. Usually smoked salmon, roast chicken or a lamb kebab. Very rarely add mayo or bbq sauce as dressing.
 
More carbs on the weekend, but no processed food and I cook my meals (which is seafood - salmon or mackerel stir-fry with veggies, onions, rice noodles and bean sprouts).
 
I never add salt or sugar to food. The most I would do, which is rare, is honey. Seasonings and processed foods already contain enough salt and sugar.
 
I don't use any 'diet' cokes or sodas, or anything that contains apsartame or a sugar subsititute.
 
I do have chocolate (best dark) or cakes, sugary food on occasion, but then I have a very small amount. It's hard sometimes, but I need to get back into my old clothes!LOL
 
WORKOUT regimen: Cardio 5 days/week for an hour minimium - either jogging/elipitcal/circuit training at the gym (2x days) and Dance to soukous music videos, main stream music vids and/or Tae Bo workout/Billy's ab bootcamp at home (3x days). 
 
I do weights and strength training 2x a week at the gym and lots of toning ones - donkey kicks for butt etc, lunges, hip adductor machine.
 
I am supposed to stretch daily, but often don't. Stretching is integral to weight loss and cutting up so I need to fix up on this point!
 
*notes*
 
- I wear a squeem to work all week to keep my waist )( and stop me from overeating. It presses your tummy down and you can't just scoff lots of food at one. This has helped me to control my food portions and slow down eating.
 
- I wear a sauna top to workout at home and sometimes use my whole body squeem (which also includes the thighs - will post pix soon).
 
- The sauna top is by everlast and also has bottoms, but I don't want a flat butt, so I never use it. May start to use once or twice a week on the treadmill.
 
- I basically dance a lot and do Tae bo rather than a more vigourous workout because I don't want to lose the fullness in my bust! I used to job 30 miles a week (back in 2006/2007) and I lost weight but by boobs went a little droopy. Thank God they are full again now! But due to this caution, I only jog for max two minutes at a time and then walk for a minute then go back to jogging again. I think this is becuase jogging makes me thin, but I loose the fat way to quickly.
 
Be careful ladies, becuase if you loose weight to fast, your body/skin can sag and not be able to catch up as fast as you are losing. Nobody wants droopy boobs!

Current measurements (as of  23rd August): Waist - 26 1/2 ins, Top of waist aka love handles - 30 ins, Pooch aka lower abdomen - 33 1/2 ins, Hips 40 1/2 ins, Thighs - 24 1/2 ins, Under bust - 32 1/2 ins
 
Goal measurements (by Dec 2009 - God willing!):   Waist - 24 ins, Top of waist aka love handles - 28 ins, Pooch aka lower abdomen - 30 ins, Hips 38 - 40 (I still want a lil booty! LOL!), Thighs - 22 ins, Under bust -  30 ins
 
SUPPLEMENT Regimen:  I took Pomegrante Super Slim for 2 weeks then stopped becuase I was unhappy with the 'unlisted' ingredients - namely Subartramine and a banned laxative.
 
I have since begun CLA/GLA comboe daily and will take for a month, then take 2 week breaks in between until I either reach my goal measurements or finish my 3 month supply.
 
If I take the entire 3 month supply, I will not buy anymore  weightloss tablets and just use coconut oil daily to keep the pooch from returning.
 
I aslo drink fat burning/cleansing/anti-oxidant teas in the week: Oolong Wu-Yi - Lingzhi mushroom - Green tea.
 
I already take a  vitamin supps for general health, beauty and hair/nail growth: Feroglobin iron supplement, Biotin, B-complex, Vitamins A, C, E (different caps and strengths), Evening primrose oil, MSM, Silica, Folic acid, Omega 3-6-9, Calcium, magnesium and D combo. I don't take these solidly without taking some breaks. I also try to have a lot of vitamins and nutrients in the food I already eat.
 
 
 
DIET Regimen: Atkins/Low G.I combo diet 5x a week (eating >20 carbs a day, low sugar, lots of pulses and veggies, 2 litres of water, slimming teas 3x a day - Lingzhi, Oolong Wu-Yi and Green teas, nofood after 7 or 8 pm unless absolutley have to. Eat low fat yogurts, soups and crackers).
 
My main meal in the working week is a medium salad at lunch time with fresh squeezed orange juice. Lots of beans, chick peas, sunflower seeds, raw veggies in the salad. No dressing. No mayo. No chaser! LOL! I have one banana daily to make up for depleted potassium, an apple and plum or nectarine. I have one ACTIVIA low fat yogurt every day to help with digestion.
 
I only drink fruit juices that are packed with vitamins and/or anti-oxidants, namely; grape, pomegranete, carrot blend, blueberry, cherry, rasberry, orange, pineapple, guava, blackcurrant or cranberry juices. I try to do only pressed juices and not made from concentrate and no added sugar. Check the labels ladies!
 
I eat every few hours to keep my metabolsim going and I eat my major carbs in the morning at breakfast so I have all day to burn it off! My breakfast is: thin wrap bread with filling. Usually smoked salmon, roast chicken or a lamb kebab. Very rarely add mayo or bbq sauce as dressing.
 
More carbs on the weekend, but no processed food and I cook my meals (which is seafood - salmon or mackerel stir-fry with veggies, onions, rice noodles and bean sprouts).
 
I never add salt or sugar to food. The most I would do, which is rare, is honey. Seasonings and processed foods already contain enough salt and sugar.
 
I don't use any 'diet' cokes or sodas, or anything that contains apsartame or a sugar subsititute.
 
I do have chocolate (best dark) or cakes, sugary food on occasion, but then I have a very small amount. It's hard sometimes, but I need to get back into my old clothes!LOL
 
WORKOUT regimen: Cardio 5 days/week for an hour minimium - either jogging/elipitcal/circuit training at the gym (2x days) and Dance to soukous music videos, main stream music vids and/or Tae Bo workout/Billy's ab bootcamp at home (3x days). 
 
I do weights and strength training 2x a week at the gym and lots of toning ones - donkey kicks for butt etc, lunges, hip adductor machine.
 
I am supposed to stretch daily, but often don't. Stretching is integral to weight loss and cutting up so I need to fix up on this point!
 
*notes*
 
- I wear a squeem to work all week to keep my waist )( and stop me from overeating. It presses your tummy down and you can't just scoff lots of food at one. This has helped me to control my food portions and slow down eating.
 
- I wear a sauna top to workout at home and sometimes use my whole body squeem (which also includes the thighs - will post pix soon).
 
- The sauna top is by everlast and also has bottoms, but I don't want a flat butt, so I never use it. May start to use once or twice a week on the treadmill.
 
- I basically dance a lot and do Tae bo rather than a more vigourous workout because I don't want to lose the fullness in my bust! I used to job 30 miles a week (back in 2006/2007) and I lost weight but by boobs went a little droopy. Thank God they are full again now! But due to this caution, I only jog for max two minutes at a time and then walk for a minute then go back to jogging again. I think this is becuase jogging makes me thin, but I loose the fat way to quickly.
 
Be careful ladies, becuase if you loose weight to fast, your body/skin can sag and not be able to catch up as fast as you are losing. Nobody wants droopy boobs!

It is my belief that you have to allow yourself at least 1 cheat day per week....or else the "diet"/healthy eating will overwhelm you if you're just starting out.

When I lost 20 lbs in 3 months, I allowed myself to eat out once on the weekends if I did really well with my food and exercise during the week.

Haha I wish I could follow your philosophy! When I am really feeling the temptation I'll eat like 6 almonds and sugar free jello. Other than that, if I go off my diet for a day it's only a matter of time before I go off for two days, three days...and so on

Thanks so much for the encouragement and compliments ladies. Just an update:
 
I've taken the CLA/GLA combo for 1 month now and my mid-section has got smaller (esp the love handles and pooch!). But I am also on a high protein/low carb diet, working out 4 to 5 days a week (in a sauna suit and some times a full body squeem) and drinking 2 litres (640z) of water a day.
 
I'm going to take a week ot two break from the CLA/GLA and continue working out and then start again. I have found that my body temp is higher than normal, so I guess my metabolism has been sped up.
 
I'm now between a size 7 - 9 (from a 9 - 11) and I'm aming for a size 5 -7 by December 09. It looks do-able, and inch wise, we're only talking about 4 inches in my fattest places!
 
I've also started drinking green smoothies (I just throw my Whey protein powder in there) and I love them!
 
I'll be back with some measurements on the weekend since I'm on my P this week....

i started at 215.6 and last weigh in was 204.8.

I need to lose the remainding 4.8 lbs so i can be under 200!!!

This is my first post and ive read everyone losses congratulations to all, and keep up the sucess. I just had a baby 6 months ago and 2 weeks after that i was losing weight very quickly maybe because i was breastfeeding and i was getting complimented left and right. Now its 5 months later and i have gained all that weight back i just stop breastfeeding and i just came back from Jamaica and was eating like no tomorrow(you know how it is when you go on vacation). So i really think this forum with all the support everyone gives, I really need it to reach my goal.

Last Year I lost down to 140, I was sooo pleased and gained it back as wellConfused.

Exercise Regimen: Cardio at least 5 times a week (1 hr in the morning (walking and elliptical). Turbo jam cardio party at night (if i'm really tired i'll skip the turbo jam)

Diet: High Protein low carb. Eat food 4 times a day. Stop eating at 7pm. Only water as liquid.

Changes in regimen: strength training, sublingual b complex vitamins, water(a whole lot), alcohol restriction, calorie counting( not as strict as in beginning)

i was at a plateau for 3 weeks. it was awful and very depressing.  i didnt give up though. i kept maintaining my diet and exercising hoping it would go away. it eventually did.  i take the b complex for energy from the b12 but it also has other b vitamins in that helps with breaking down and metabolizing fats and carbs.  i stopped drinking because boy oh boy-i really could lay down some rum and coke. but drinking is empty calories! and i started strength training because i read to get over a plateau you have to switch up your routine.  so i will keep you all updated and everyone keep up the good work.

This will be a great support for me. I had three babies back to back...the youngest is 4 months the oldest 3 yrs , the middle 2 yrs Confused.  Anywayz needless to say I gain MAD weight and though its coming off slow but sure I need to step things up......so I AM IN!!!!!

Regimen: reduce portions(5 times a day) plenty of veggies and fruit counting calories. Been slipping on my exercise but will get back focus abs were burning so had to give a rest. Doing Taebo videos at least 3 times a week.
