Hey all,

So I wanna dye my bundles gray (keeping the dark roots), but I don't want the grey to look monotone (all one color).  I want some dimension to it to make it look more natural.

Does anyone know how to achieve this? Do I bleach the hair to about a light ash blonde, then go back in and do some bleach blonde/platinum blonde highlights, THEN DYE the hair gray?

ORRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Do take out the pieces I want to highlight, bleach the rest to a light ash, dye the rest of the hair, then bleach the pieces I took out for the highlights? THEN dye those? Lol HELP.

Gray is nothing more than violet........for gray you should bleach it up white.....might take two bleaches.....If you use the right bleack it will bleach in varies tons.....then you ton it with straight violet....for 3-5 minutes......

I use the Loreal Quick Blue. LOVE IT.  But I found a gray hair dye called "titanium" by Ion. I'm assuming I can bleach & dye normally......I'd hate for it to be monotone, but oh well.

Thanks ladies
