I think it does take a lot of upper body strength to be hanging upside down and swinging from a poll tbh.

I do....

it tones the body really nice.... but i havent lost weight with just pole fitness 
i still have to add extra cardio into my workout routine

I would love to try it but I'm so scared to bust my ass and make a fool of myself. I'd have to try it in the privacy of my own home until I get the hang of it instead of trying in a pole dancing class.

I took a class last year called pole fit and it mixed the strength endurance with cardio. I left there sweating each and everytime.

If you're in the Atlanta area, the place is called Dance 411 on Moreland Ave.
