I dont think anything more happened that night in the car aside from a guy snapping and beating the sh*t out of girlfriend because he couldn't handle being nagged and pressured about a situation.

I am not gathering this from your statement but a general theory was that she deserved it because she attacked him first and all this and that bullsh*t yet his mugshot looks pretty damn good to me while she looks like the after on super Nintendo Punch Out. It really, really upset me when ppl jumped to this conclusion bc its the way ppl treat blk couples affected by DV all the time.

Idk....maybe she saw how her momma kept going back to her daddy and thinks that's how it's meant to be? It doesn't seem as though either parents got counseling for them when they were younger

I think some feel they are beyond capable of doing that and never seek help to address it. I don't believe either ever thought they would be in that situation until they were in it.  It is pretty toxic but I can see what draws them to one another and they do look good with each other. Whether its healthy or not is debatable. I would be curious if either seriously sought help and made the link between what they saw and experienced as children and how that influences their choices and actions as adults.

Lol I think thats the gist of it. The cycle is real.

I grew up around ratchetness but I really prefer quiet and mood stability. Most ppl go the opposite way.

not just for the way she looked but for the way she felt and realize that she doesn't need to feel that again

and if she feels she must, she can still forgive him without being with him
