Everyone knows about the Pibbs being the best dryer available. But I was looking around and found the LCL Beauty (formerly Salons R US) dryer and it looks exactly the same and cost half of what the Pibbs does. I'm wondering if anyone has used both or has experience with the LCL Beauty brand. If it's the same performance wise then I'd rather save my $150.

I think you should go for it... I wish I would've saw this two days ago. I broke down and purchased the hot tools roll around dryer 141$ from a beauty supply store and I haven't used it yet, but I am already having buyers remorse. Ouch They had ^^^ dryer for 189 +tax.

I have one the older dryers that I got off craigslist for $60 that's just like the LCL Beauty one and it does everything I need it to do. I'm glad I didn't spend $300 for the Pibbs. It gets my hair dry in about an hour and I haven't really had any issues with it. The only thing that gets on my nerves is trying to deep conditions because the upward airflow (which the Pibbs also has so it wouldn't make a difference) tends to pull my shower cap upwards. It's a hassle every time.
