A pic of one of my cousins....sometimes people think she is puerto rican, but remove the make up and she look like bland ass white girl [IMG]smileys/smiley36.gif" align="middle" /> her brothers can pass too, I have aunts and uncles who can pass for white, and they are all afro carib...

she just looks light skinned to me..but i think the pic is understating her color. her facial features look kinda black to me. but again that could just be her pose

patti, isnt it disturbing how important hair REALLY is? i mean we try to downplay it but as brother afro noted, so many blacks can "pass" for "non-black colored" or "less black" w just a change of hair. is it any wonder our beauty industry is based on that? and though its changing, its obv still something we worry about. sad.

Yeah you're right. When I am rockin' a straight weave many think I am mixed with Indian.
Well at least that is what I've heard from black men but I think they are obsessed with what they deem as exotics but that is a WHOLE other story.
