I thought I was the only person with this problem! My hair has a very slight wave in the front (I've been natural for appx. 4 years) and I can't even think about running a comb or denman through it. It will be completely straight. I usually do a flat twist in the front and after a day or two I can take the flat twist out and my hair will blend with the rest.

I cut the front of my hair a lot, also. Because its so straight, it looks longer, so I give myself a long bang when I get tired of having to hide the straight pieces.

I've tried beer rinses, protein treatments, twist outs, roller sets, scrunching with flaxseed get after washing with no manipulation....you name it, i've researched it and tried it. Unfortunately, that's just the way our hair grows.

I have a very small small small patch of 3c on my nape mixed in with the small area of 4a on nape area.  I don't even talk about it too much because it is so small.  It looks like I have heat damage.  It's weird because most of my hair is 4b...Confused  I thought my 4a section when I first started being natural was heat damaged...LOL

Don't know how longyour hair is but maybe it just needs time to grow fukly out. Apparently your curl pattern can change over time so maybe it won't be as noticeable in a few years. If all else fails add loads of conditioner.

I just asked a question about this same thing the other day. I have stright ends no matter how much I cut it off it goes back straight. I think its a matter of having to grow your hair or just dealing with it lol. The front of my hair is straight it never curls up but you can kinda see the coils. I think that it due to the manipulation over the years in that area.

Same issue here. I usually just let it do its thing or twist if around another curlier piece.

hello guys, I fixed it!
I used a prepoo treatment Jasmine and Henna Fluze from Lush which contains Red Henna Infusion, Water, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Ylang Ylang Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Wheatgerm oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Almond Oil, Brazil Nut Oil, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Hemp Oil, Soya Oil, Castor Oil
And I shampooed with African Black soap...
It gave me major curl definition everywhere and especially in the front where my hair is not flat anymore!
It worked for me because my hair was damaged in some way (probably too much product) it might not work for you if your hair is just like that naturally
