I honestly do believe that weave is an idol for many black women.

So the ladies in his congregation shouldn't wear make up, bras, spanx, perfume, deodorant, glasses or perms because he thinks they should be "REAL"?? LOL
He probably just found out his wife was a weave wearing premed sista.

NOT THE CHURCH FOR ME!!

Even though I wear it from time to time, I know many could not live without it.

And it's strange to me when weave wearing, contact lens donning women complain about black men running to other races. To the untrained eye, a black woman wearing 30 inch Brazilian/Hawaiian/Turkish/Hogwarts hair looks a whole lot like emulation instead of style "preference." Especially when it's done all the time. So why wouldn't a man run to an actual Brazilian/Hawaiian/Turkish person....

I really just wish we as a people had more pride in ourselvesz. Why can't women of other races spend thousands trying to get like us? Why is it always the other way around.

Oh and don't come for me. I respect anyone's decision to do whatever it is they want to do to their head. Do you. But yes, it runs me the wrong way sometimes how attached black women are to hair that isn't theirs. It's not comparable to white women wearing weaves at all. Maybe to white women tanning? That being said the pastor is goin about this the wrong way.

Yeah I never thought I'd see the day when white women complained that their asses were too flat.  That was a bit unsettling.
