Oh, so y'all would be fine if, for whatever reason, an employee of a business you patronized posted your complete name, how much you spent and occupation on-line?
Are the concepts of automatic and additional subjective? Cuz when I've eaten at establishments where the gratuity was automatic, it was already added in onto the amount for food and where it showed the dollar amount equivalent of the %, that was just as an FYI.
for its part, Applebee’s has released the following statement:
Our Guests’ personal
information – including their meal check – is private, and neither
Applebee’s nor its franchisees have a right to share this information
publicly. We value our Guests’ trust above all else. Our franchisee has
apologized to the Guest and has taken disciplinary action with the Team
Member for violating their Guest’s right to privacy. This individual is
no longer employed by the franchisee.
In what context would I be volunteering that kind of information? Not trying to come for you but I can't think of a reason why I would put down my occupation on a receipt.
