Hmm...My natural hair is low porosity and protein sensitive too and trying to think of I know works well for me.
I don't use conditioners for slip, but I note them when I write reviews. Aussie Moist Conditioner works pretty well for me, but I don't think it had ridiculous slip, but it's thick how I like my cons to be and I can tolerate the smell (sensitive nose allergies).
For moisture, I realized I had to focus more on technique of moisturizing rather than finding the holy grail of products. After the wash I moisturize in sections on damp to dry hair, spritzing smaller sections with water and smoothing it in. Then use a small amount of moisturizer of choice and smoothing that in. I optionally seal with a very light oil. Then I style (usually twists). To moisturize dry hair without washing, I takedown the twists and do the rame process. For me, I have to keep my hair stretched out, and to maintain it I keep in twists or if it's loose I section it into four large sections and do a large ponytail/bun tuck into the ponytail holder, in each section. hope that makes sense.
