...is the bizness. Slicks down edges better than any gel I have ever used. I bought it for my daughter for putting her hair in twists and braids. I was at my mom's house pretty much all of last week and I didn't have very many products with me so I used the gel to slick down my bun and put on my headscarf for about 30 minutes before we left the house. Lawdhammercy!!! Heaven in a jar. Easily beats out Ecostyler. It is creamy, which is different from most gels. It slicks the edges down while they remain extremely soft. It is bananas! And the hold stayed until I co-washed a couple days later. And when I took my daughter's ponytail twists down the hold was soft but amazing.

Y'all better go get you some!

I've never tried the Edge Control so I can't compare. But I love, love, love, love this stuff.

Tangie, are you natural or relaxed?

Im natural and love ORS lock and twist gel for twists and braid outs.

But if i want my hair slicked down in a natural pony/bun I will use eco styling gel becuase the lock and twist gel doesn't provide me with a firm enough hold for natural buns

There two totally different consistencies, ORS lock and twist gel ... has a sort of wet feel whereas the ORS edge control is firm and almost waxy so it depends on your hair type and if your natural or relaxed I think. But for my edges i definatley perfer the edge control it slicks my edges down all day.

I'm relaxed. Maybe I should have mentioned that.
