I am looking to order a upart and a closure from him. I want to get the closure with the elastic band. I don't trust myself to do it. Should I ask him to do it, or should I try to find a stylist to do it for me? AI have seen it done on YT, but how does only using an elastic band for the closure look?

Im not sure that he sews on elastic bands. But honestly you can do it yourself. It takes less than 5 minutes. I have heard from a few youtubers that the band pulled out their edges.
ETA: Why dont you sew the closure to the upart?

I can't even sew on a button to be honest, I just would have to risk messing up the hair experimenting.

LOL its so easy. Why dont you ask him to sew the closure to the wig and then you can wear it as a full wig. He does sew in combs/clips for security.
