ORLANDO, Fla. — Investigators said a professional stunt car driver left a path of destruction while driving under the influence of alcohol through downtown Orlando early Wednesday morning.
WFTV was at the scene early Wednesday morning when Grady Bishop was questioned by police after his car broke down.
No one was inside the three damaged vehicles at the time of the crash, authorities said.
Officers said the Winter Springs resident also crashed into several street lights in front of City Hall.
Bishop, 51, was given a field sobriety test on South Orange Avenue, and officials said his blood-alcohol level was over twice the legal limit.
WFTV learned Bishop owns Extreme Stunts, a company that's done extensive work with motion pictures. His impressive movie resume includes "Fast and The Furious" and work for Disney's “Lights, Motors, Action.”
Bishop was charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident, police said.
Dressed in the same short shorts and cutoff T-shirt he was booked into jail wearing, Channel 9 was there when Bishop posted his $1,300 bond.
When asked what happened, Bishop said, “I don't know. I really don't.”

The crash caused about $10,000 in damage, officials said.
Bishop’s colleagues at KSS Productions told Channel 9, “Mr. Bishop is highly respected and admired as one of the best stunt drivers in the industry."http://www.wftv.com/news/news/local/police-driver-crashed-3-cars-street-lights-dui-arr/nWNHc/
