It's been a year since ny Big Chop and I'm not really happy about the growth. And what are the hair types 4b 4c, etc???

The issue is length retention but you'll need to give us more information so we can help you with it.

Hey, 

As with the original poster, you need to tell us your regimen and your general hair practices so we can help you and identify any possible problems with your length retention. 

The hair types relate to how tight your curls are, for some they like to know so they can look for other bloggers with similar hair types and find products that work better for their specific hair type. Some women don't feel it's relevant to know your hair type, it's a debated topic, nothing to stress about though, hair typing is a somewhat recent concept. :)
