Pinch My hair grows in such a special way, smh. The left side grows much thicker and longer than the right. It's like it's split directly down the middle. And it's a noticeable difference. See that goal in my sig? The left side of my head reached it, the right, not so much Disapprove.

I have to get my hair cut every two or three weeks just so it stays even and get the left side thinned so my head doesn't look lopsided. It's almost a full inch difference of growth between the two sides Ouch.

Does anyone else's hair have such a big growth difference? Is there anything that can be done to correct it?

Yes. I feel you!

My hair grows slower on the left side. I sleep on that side.

I feel ya, I think I have one side longer than the other one too, oooh and the nape, forget about it!  The nape is a "type A" personality, my nape has to grow faster and better than any other part of my head!  It does not know how to "play well" with others....or in it's case "grow at the same pace" like the other parts of my hairLOL

Same here...one side of my hair (the right side) grows considerably faster than the other and it's noticeably thicker. At first, I thought that it was due to my sleeping position. Nope...as it turns out, I favor the right side when sleeping, and even then, I make it a point to wear satin caps and consciously switch my head positions.

I later found out that I had iron-deficiency anemia and was loosing my hair by the handful! The hair loss was mainly concentrated on the left side, though. Now, I'm no longer shedding but the damage is done. One side is thicker and the other thinner.

However, I still don't understand why my left side still grows slower than my right.

One side of my hair seems better than the other. Another thing that can also be an issue is how and what direction u wrap. But I would be a bit considered if u have to trim every 2-3 weeks to keep even.
Maybe some vitamins n growth aides can help

Same here ...just ignore it. Cutting doesn't help either. It's the way it is. Just love it in all its glory

my hair is definitely that way, but it's more of a difference b/t my crown and everything else. that's the longest section of my hair and at times its ahead 1  full inch. if it were my nape layer or something it would be cute but mostly it just makes my hair look a little weird lol.

the right side of my hair is about 1.5inches longer than the left...i'm just hoping the left gets a few good growth spurts and catches up...do u wear buns? if u do, do u always twist them the same way? i've been trying to alternate the way i do my buns and see if that makes a difference...just be extra cautious and take extra care of the part of your hair growing the slowest...maybe try MT or OCT on that side?
