My hair is naturally gorgeous color and I love my red hair. Whenever I go out everyone use to say that you’re lucky to have this type of hair naturally. This is my interesting hair journey.

- It's okay for me to like products other people don't.
- It's okay for me to experiment and learn that something may not work best for me.
- Sharing my new knowledge is one of the best parts of being on a hair journey
- My mother was right, trimming is important.
-- cutting my hair isn't a big deal, just because I'm black doesn't mean that it's the end of the world if scissors are in my hair.
--- It does grow back.
- SLS is best avoided, but sometimes great products contain them too.
- Nature seems to have an answer for each of my hair woes, I just have to look deep and put in effort.
- I adore conditioners and conditioning.
- Hair is a passion of mine

1. Co-washing doesn't work well with my hair.
2. My hair is protein sensitive.
3. There is an UNBELIEVABLE ammount to learn about hair.
4. Silicones aren't all bad.
5. My hair hates air-drying.

1) My hair likes consistency and to be left alone,
2) My hair is growing (even if it doesn’t look like),
3) Garlic and MSM are good against shedding,
4) Techniques are more important than products,
5) JBCO works better when diluted with other oils,
6) Aphogee two steps every 6-8 weeks is something to keep,
7) Henna/Indigo two steps treatment is tooooooo messy,
8) Price tag of a product does not guarantee that is going to work wonders (some drugstore brands are just as good),
9) Natural 4a/4b hair is actually very cute! Smile

Totally agree with un4getableview: "thou shall not follow other members". Find what works for me and keep it.

My natural type 4b hair can and is easy to handle as long as I realize what it can and can't do! Your regimen doesn't have to be long and complicated, leave it alone and it'll grow!

I agree with number 8. I was searching for a great moisturizing conditioner and when tresemme didn't work for me I figured I needed something better (more expensive). Was *this* close to ordering aubrey organics online, which costs a fortune to ship here! Then I tried out this really cheap small name brand shea butter conditioner. I can't remember the last time a conditioner made my hair so soft!

I'm constantly learning on this hair care journey.
Stopped spending so much time in the weaves and wigs sections and more in the natural hair care.
Participating in a challenge probably won't be bad.  Instead of feeling like I will fail it could help me stay motivated.
My hair loves steaming and henna and now QB detangling ghee.
Stopped being lazy and deal with breakage and dryness at all costs to retain length.
