Question:  Does anyone prepoo AND oil rinse??  It seems like that would be too much, but I just want to know...

Hi Ms. Kudos

I just did it on my hair!!!

Firstly, I pre-poo'd. But this is what my pre-poo consisted of...
I had my hair in  braids and have been "oil rinsing" them since I found this thread but I haven't used shampoo. Just co-washing and oil rinsing. So when I removed my braids, my hair was pretty slick.

On top of that, I put a "Diva by Cindy" treatment on my hair (its a pre-treatment before you shampoo).

Then I washed my hair and oil-rinsed.

Girl, my hair has never ever been soft like this for such a long period of time. I woke up this morning, expecting my hair to be shrunk and hard as usual, but it was actually just as soft as when it was damp!!

I am oil rinsing forever!

Did you end up using vegetable glycerin?

I have tried this with my last 2 or 3 washes and detangling is a breeze. I also lose less hair during my wash.

I also dry detangle prior to washing my hair so that could be helping aswell.

I tried this once.
It was so long ago I can't remember how my hair liked it.
I'll have to do it again sometime!

Thanks kwicherbichen!!  I'm trying to figure this out, before I take this weave down!!
Couple more questions:
Does anyone deep condition AND oil rinse??
Are you ladies detangling on dry hair (before shampoo/co-wash) or wet (after washing out the conditioner)?
