May 22nd, 2014
There are three more days of the 67th
Annual Cannes Film Festival left! Next up on the agenda was amfAR’s 21st
Cinema Against AIDS Gala. Our favorite models, actresses, songstresses,
and more were in attendance for the stylish event that was thrown for a
Ready for the looks? Let’s dive in!
Jourdan Dunn kicked off the night in my favorite color! She surely turned a few heads in a woven and embellished Balmain Fall 2014 frock. Yes Ms. Dunn!
Navy and lace from Vionnet
were on the menu for Rosario Dawson. She’s been excelling in the style
department at Cannes this year. I’m looking forward to what she wears
does the curve-hugging, all-black thing very well — as she did here.
For the remainder of the year, I’d like to see her experiment more with
color and silhouette: she’s so gorgeous, she can practically try
Though she’s been wearing Cavalli quite a bit during Cannes, Aishwarya Rai switched to an Armani Privé number. Her husband, Abhishek Bachchan, also looked quite handsome.
In case you haven’t had your fill of cutouts yet, Alessandra Ambrosio also tried on the sexy detail in a white Roberto Cavalli gown.
Michelle Rodriguez gave her black embellished, figure-skimming Elisabetta Franchi gown a pop of color with red lips.
Clearly, yellow was the hue of the night as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
stunned in a saffron one-shoulder gown with cutout detailing from Emilio Pucci’s Fall 2014 collection. Rosie does this all so effortlessly.
Heidi Klum dazzled in an icy blue Atelier Versace piece with cutout detailing and a thigh-high slit. Work Heidi!
Izabel Goulart usually skews sultry, but instead she went the sweet
route in a strapless, blush pink beaded and feather embellished gown
from Emilio Pucci. This was magnificent.
Jessica Chastain was simple, yet chic in a black strapless Givenchy gown. I love to see her in color, but there’s not a thing wrong with this classic look.
Like Izabel, Irina Shayk also donned a blush pink gown, choosing a one-shoulder embellished Atelier Versace design.
Instead of her signature Dior, Marion Cotillard chose a white lace Alexander McQueen gown from the Fall 2014 assortment.
Justin Bieber looked quite dapper in a Dolce & Gabbana suit.
Were you impressed by any ensembles at the gala?
