We featured Taraji P. Henson in Weekend Hot! or Hmm… and if her $1,590 Etro Satin Trimmed Printed Stretch Crepe Pencil Skirt looked familiar, it is because Carmen Ejogowore the same piece back in October.

While Taraji paired her skirt with a $175 McQ by Alexander Mcqueen Open Knit Paneled Stretch Top and black pumps, Carmen opted for the full runway look, paired with printed pumps.

The sold-out pencil skirt is crafted from green and black paisley print stretch crepe and features front vents.

Carmen wins this round for me. Though Taraji’s pairing shows off the skirt’s front vents which are one of the standout details of the piece, Carmen’s pairing is much more elegant: I guess that’s easy when you virtually wear the head-to-toe runway look!

Mary J. Blige made an appearance on Good Morning America in the same $1,963Roberto Cavalli Printed Silk Twill Jacket Nicki Minaj wore just this weekend.

While Mary paired her jacket with a white ribbed a-line dress, gold oversized hoops, and red lips, Nicki skewed more casual in a leopard captain’s hat, Timberland boots, and the look’s matching printed pants.

The jacket has buttoned cuffs and a single button closure.

Neither look is my cup of tea, but I actually prefer Nicki’s look here. Not that I would ever pair Timbs with a Cavalli suit, but you know how the rich live! Mary’s white dress doesn’t provide the anchor that the printed jacket needs: almost any other color would have been a better pairing.

It was all about leather bodysuits at tonight’s Superbowl festivities!
Jennifer Hudson kicked off the night’s performances with her rendition of “American the Beautiful,” sung alongside students from Sandy Hook Elementary School. For the momentous occasion, she wore a L’Wren Scott skirt, YSL pumps, and the same $795Monika Chiang leather bodysuit Kourtney Kardashian wore for an appearance at Sirius Satellite Radio Studios in NYC:

While both ladies opted for white skirt, JHud stuck to a pencil silhouette, while Kourtney went more flirty with a more A-line Miu Miu skirt, along with Alexander McQueenScrimshaw Gilly Booties.
The leather number has an ultra slim fit throughout torso and wrists, along with a mock turtleneck top

While I wasn’t particularly wowed by JHud’s outfit while watching her perform on TV, I am impressed by the still shots. The skirt’s tailored fit goes well with the top’s sophisticated aura. I think Jennifer might have my vote!
