Yea, my cat don't like to have her foots touched AT ALL

my cats used to hate it. It used to take two of us with the bathroom door closed,   to maybe get 1 claw clipped. Hub would hold one down, and I would try to clip.

When I took him out of the equation and just started trying to do it myself, they were a lot calmer. I started out going thru the motions but not actually clipping anything. It took a few weeks to get them used to it, but even he was amazed at how I was able to do it alone. I think we were making them stressed by making such a big deal about it (holding down, closing door), they fought back. It's like we were setting up a stressful environment and they reacted in the same way.

I clip every week now. 


eta: oh and treats and lots of praises afterwards. I don't do that anymore, but during the training, treats helped.
