there might have been something wrong where his brain wasn't getting the signal that he was hungry when he wasn't.
making the stomach small physically prevents him from eating himself to death.
they need better research and medicine for this.
i also think some of the hormones we feed animals to make them gain weight faster are being passed up the food chain.
these are my random thoughts and i am not willing to defend them, so don't come for me fat is a choice policeLOL

A toddler? Seriously? That's way to young for that surgery IMO

Does he play at all? Like doing stuff outside?  You may disagree with me but I feel that putting kids on a diet without a doctor or RD supervision would cause them to gain more weight since children are growing individual and if we try to alter their metabolism, that tricks the body that they are starving and will hoard all of the calories.  And it will make it harder for them to lose weight when they are adults.

There must have been something wrong with him. Even my fat ass wasn't that fat at his age. I would love to see a photo of his parents.

At least he has a chance to grow up a normal weight and no longer at risk for a heart attack. Sleep apnea in a child!

Nice thing about the sleeve is that it can be removed bad thing is that he'll have to take a multivitamin for life if he keeps it in.

Why not stock the house with healthy foods??
Put him on a food schedule??

I don't think this is safe for a baby.
