This is crazy.  I don't think any policy could allow me to watch someone die when I know I might be able to save them.  That's crazy.

I think I too would hesitant to perform CPR...but the guilt will kill me if I didn't at least try to do it.

Knowing that someone died because I didn't do CPR will def haunt me for the rest of my life.

It's not just in America.  If you do that over here in Japan and you cause harm or death to the person, you can be held legally responsible, so many people don't help if someone is in trouble.  On the flip side, we do have defibrillators all over in public places like train stations to help revive someone if they are having a heart attack.  At school, I am not allowed to treat any child for more than a paper cut and even then, I always give them the band-aid so they can put it on themselves.

I would love to see defibrillators in public places and youth sport fields . I Think so many children would survive .

This...it was like she really didn't care...especially when you can tell the 911 dispatcher is having a mini freak out on the other end from the shock of the "IDGAF" responses.

You have a good heart . People like the nurse better rememeber if they get old , the same thing could happen if know one cares . I want care in my Home or let me die . I witness CNA and Nurses  getting high on duty at nursing homes . I was the bad guy for reporting . One of the reasons I left after a year. Never judge a Nursing home by the beautiful lobby area .
