It's time consuming and usually expensive but I guess that small amount may not be.

Unless you have thinning hair or trying to blend with something that in no way matches your own texture, you could do a sliver of leaveout to cover and get the same results with skin wefts, handtieds or reversible wefts at the top. They're quicker and cheaper.

Yea....I'm trying to get no leave out cause my hair never matches the textures I want and I really don't want to deal with closures.

The only part I cant figure out is where is the knot tied? Usually when you do crochets you can see where the knot is ties on the top of the braid. Where does she ties the knots on the straight hair? It will be too obvious to tie the knot on the top for straight hair. You can get away with it using curly hair. I'm gonna try this on a dummy head using my hook needle for ventilating. Whew good thing I didn't throw it away.

This is why I think she's leaving hair out even if it's only 1/8 of an inch. IF that's what she's installing and no leave out at all she must be doing like three strands at a time.
Oh and you may want to buy a micro hook not a regular one. That's the one I used to do them that small.

TBH. I Think her installs are screaming Look at my Weave ". The amount of hair on her clients head are enough to install 3 clients in my op . Nothing natural about a ton of hair on your head in my op. Check out the top of some of the clients head . You can see tracks for 300 bucks .

Hmmm. I beg to differ. I don't like thin weaves and theirs doesn't look to thick to me.

I don't think I've seen anything new in about 10 years or so.
