The pics aren't very clear. Does the stylist have a FB, YT something?

I see plenty of closures up in those pics and the others definitely have their hair out.

Did the STYLIST say that she has A style that does all those things in one install? Sleepy

Okay I'm back, I tried the fold over method real quick and that can not be it because its too bulky even with small braids. I'm about to look over the lacing method but for your questions. This stylist advertises this as NO CLOSURE, NO GLUE, NO WIG, NO INVISIBLE PART. Also, Ms. Bossy posted her's and it is definitely not a closure but her part has that perfect look like make up is applied.

Here is Ms. Bossy's Vid:

Here is The MakeUp Closets Facebook, It has up close pics that are definitely not closures:

Guys this is crochet with tiny strands of hair. I'm looking at the close up pics of the FB page.

Exactly suga.

I'm thinking that picture didn't come across clear but you can see the way it's done - definitely not a wig cause it would lay much flatter in the back and side areas.

Here are reference threads from Perfectblending who lives out in Cali and gets this done with her weaves:

One from Abby who had it done as well:

Okay so you're telling me they use a latchhook to crochet around the base braid at the part? And that she cuts the hair at the base of the weft and strands them in individually? Lol.

Mystery SOLVED!!!!!! Please enjoy!! I dug back to 2009
[/QUOTE]

Here are a few links.  The first one is the one I created in search of a stylist who does it on the east coast.  The others are where I read about the method on here.

I wasn't able to fly out to LA to the originator of this method and was never able to find anyone on the East Coast who knew it so I taught it to my long time stylist. Smile

She parted my hair where I wanted my part to be then braided all of my hair left out nothing but a tiny bit of the edges like 1/4"

Sewed in the tracks including on the braids at the top next to my part.

She cut some hair off of the left over tracks.

She pushed the latch hook under the flat part of hair beteen my scalp (at the part) and braid and took tiny tiny batch of hair even smaller than if you were doing micro braids,  folded it in half and placed it over the hook of a latch hook tool.  Closed the latch hook and pulled it back through the same way she pushed it under and tied the hair in a tiny almost invisible knot.

Note: when you pull the latch hook back through release one of the halves of the tiny batch of hair on the hook so that only one side comes back and you tie them together.
