I just ordered some satin rollers from amazon.com.

I need to proactively keep my cornrowed ends protected better that I have been.

Yesterday I cowashed, today I rinsed with plain water.
I just set an appnt for Aug 31.

I decided to do my appnt early.

What are yall's weekend hair plans?

Im back in my cornrows and half wigs after a week break with a bun. I loved wearing my hair in a bun, but it was still too much maintinence for me. Im doing an overnight pre poo treatment with olive oil tonight and will co wash and dc in the morning. Im gonna look into finding a new protective style...maybe a weave. I WISH I could get some bobraz again....Ermm maybe I can find a substitute. Any suggestions ladies??

Checking in::: I'm SERIOUSLY contemplating on getting the front of my hair trimmed back (or possibly screwing it up myself...). Maybe one of those Deva Cuts I hear about. But I'm thinking about doing so by the end of the year. It's only the front though that's irritating since it's looser, it hangs much more. But in terms of inches, it actually is longer than the rest of my hair or at least the nape area by like 4 or 5 inches. I just hate the way it hangs especially when I try to do a wash'n go. I think that's what irritates me most about wash'n go's.

On the other hand, I dunno why I feel like my hair isn't growing. I've kinda started thinking that I'm possibly reaching a terminal length. This definitely isn't cool for my ultimate goal is classic length stretched which (I'm guessing) should give me bsl curlies. I guess I'm still looking for my hair to get an inch a month and it's probably gone back down to getting half an inch. =( Cause it did grow .5 for August but oh well. Just having a real down and out moment with my hair. Someday I'll probably put in another set of smallish twists. Maybe I should do a blowout? I dunno, I'm pulling a blank. I think I'll be bsl for the rest of the year. No MBL for me....

Sorry about the ranting. Nelly's just gettin on my nerves right now..

Hi ladies I've been M.I.A. with my personal life aswell any type of interaction with any unfamiliar outsides sources but also I can't find the cable to charge my camera so I cna't uplaod and recent updates but during summer I think I just loose my way a little with hair care and let it do it's things. Promise I will do the final update at the end, this challenge has been a great help for my hair I feel. EmbarrassedSmile

I think by the end of the year most of the back layers should be grazing or full apl, the sides are almost shoulder length, the front is well still at my lips. I think I need to work on my top layers some more it'll probably take another year for them to reach full apl, but I'm up for the challenge Wink

Don't think I got 3 inches and my hair won't magically grow any longer in the next 3 days LOL but I've learnt a lot form all you ladies, so I will carry it over to my next year personal hair goals.Smile
