I was going to say that I think that Asia is up there as well. Did they poll the Philippines or India for starters?

Anywho, I work with a nurse who obviously bleaches. Her face is perpetually ashen and slightly pink but the rest of her is brown. What is the point of that?  Its not like we can't see your neck, torso, arms, etc. They never look naturally light, just weird.

To play devil's advocate here, I see a difference in bleaching versus toning.  When I spent time in the Caribbean my skin darkened significantly and i did not like the dull red undertone my skin got from it. So I am always sorting out lightening soaps to even out my complexion and to keep my complexion bright.

This is what bleaching is really. Yes i know the whole bit about the desire to be light is to be closer to white, mixed ancestry etc etc etc it may have had roots in that but it has evolved. Similar to relaxing hair. Its seen as a social mobility tool, it makes one more attractive to the other sex as well and i waill always repeat this some people do it because it en vogue "everybody ah rub, so mek me rub too". Yes boys/men in Jamaica bleach tooOuch

To date the biggest stash of bleaching cream I have ever seen was in a BSS in Miami when i was a wee lass, i swear i never knew that people in the states bleached.Shocked

Everytime I watch a video with scores of random Nigerians i spot so many yardie facesCry The shop owner looks just like a teacher I know....just lighter LMBAO. I didn't hear the commentary just watch the video

ETA Lima i think she did a pretty good job......its looks even, almost natural. But shes hiding the tell tale areas the eyes with eyeliner, the scalp with her wig Also shes wearing foundation/powder so i wanna she them cheeks
