Ah yes, I forgot...the only people who truly understand all that goes along with being "black from a hair upkeep or concept of beauty perspective" are those who are darker than Alex Wek with green pepper noses that spread from one cheek to the other, with harsh nappy super kinky coily afros with a 100% shrinkage rate with excessive dryness that breaks off combs and bodacious figures?

Not trying to go in on you Sweet, but I find that line of thinking ridiculous. I don't think her hair falls under the wavy type 3 category considering how poofy her roots are when she's wearing it natural. IMO hair typing is irrelevant as just knowing your type won't necessarily teach you anything about your hair. And it's unfortunate that this is yet ANOTHER thing that we as a people use to divide the group as a whole.

Twist outs are my savior!

Braid outs don't work as well. I end up with straight clumps of hair that looks awkward.

    November just grow your own hair and stop being so stuck on others...that truth will set you free

    Some 4c youtuber made a video about alot of other 4cers and many of  their expectations of their hair and why it gets "hard" for them...Now I can see it...We need to come up with a syndrome name...
