Okay, today I received the Model Model Invisible Part 3/4 Wig. I ordered it from hairsisters.com on Tuesday and received it today, THursday. I ordered Eugene and I will post a link below. I will post the begining comments and then later comments after worn.
1 - The wig is extremely dark. I ordered a 1B and it is super BLACK. I would recommend that NO ONE ORDER a 1. I can just imagine how shiney and FAKE the 1 looks.
2 - Eugene is very very long, I had to cut it at least 3 inches. I'm fine with that because of me the purpose is having very little of my hair to blend and the middle U part look.
3 - Spacing - the wig does have a small opening in the middle that is 3 inches long, 2 inches wide
4 - The wig has a thin bang attached in the front, you can either cut it or leave it on. I left it on cause I think that will allow me to have less of my hair out. I did not want to perm edges if possible.
What I did not like:
The curl pattern for Eugene is sort of deep wave/crimp type style. To me, it does not look like the video link below. It is not deep wavy fully and not curled exactly either. SO it will be difficult to blend.
Well I won't say it does not look the same, I will say...be careful buying wigs based on YouTUbe recommendations because the camera does not show everything. The video below looks more big curls while mine did not look quite this curly. ALso, maybe because I had to CUT the hair to fit my needs, maybe that is what made the difference.
The hair is very full, TO ME....it looks too full right out the package. It does not look believable right out of the package to ME. It screams FAKE cause no ones hair is that FULL!!!
I don't mind tweaking a wig cause honestly, very few wigs are perfect. But this particular curl pattern to ME...needs more work than I care to do on a regular basis. I had to thin out the tracks. Also I might have made a mistake, I brushed out some of the curls and plan to re-roll it. But I guess someone could get their crimping iron and crimp the hair.
SHINE: The hair is not as shiny as some wigs but it is on the shiney side. I would have to use either my solid deodorant to tone it down.
SO right now, out of a 10...I give it a 5 for effort. Maybe the straight one will be better because less tweaking will be required.
Silky texture - the hair has that doll like silky hair texture, which I dont think plays off well. I'm still try and make it work but I don't like this.
This wig has potential, I just have to figure out how to work it. TO ME, it does not look as real as some other wigs.
Also, I think we can cut open a vanessa lace front or some other lace front that is a little courser in texture and have the same effect.
FOr me, this wig just takes too much work, unless you can wear it long. I'm of a age where I would look like Foo Foo, the CLOWN wearing a wig that long to work or out.
