That's terrible. I recently had a similar problem with somebody who's not even a member here but lurks, and got a hold of my email. I won't be selling to non board members I'm not familiar with anymore. PayPal is set up to the benefit of scammers.

Someone was emailing me for my wig I had for sale..I asked her for her user name but I couldnt find it on the board..she kept asking me all these weird questions that were already covered in the actual thread..then went down a list of things about why my wig is perfect for her..I was like..do you have any references? she didnt, so I didnt sell it too her.. I dont know if she was legit or not but I just dont want any drama...
