Hello everyone!! I am new to this fourm. I haven't had a perm since this march. I have had very short hair cuts for the past 3 years. I want to start going it out. I have been reading the first fourm and definately convienced that I am getting curl free tomorrow. I am nervous but after seeing stephshe's progress I am so excited. Stephshe your hair is beautiful and an inspiration. Hopefully I will be able to post pictures.

Thanks ladies
scorpioluv- I make my own clips-in using virgin indian curly hair. I have made some using wagmans, rho, and b-dogg indian hair. I just purchased some Arjuni 2c and I'm waiting to get it so I can make some new clip-ins now.

your hair looks great. I can't wait to get my long hair back.
I'm so excited in 2 wks I get my first retouch & I can't wait to see how it looks. I decided to retouch every 10 wks.

Hi Teeder , your hair will be long before you know it ! Every 10 week for a retouch sounds good. When I first started I tried stretching for like 4-5 months but I don't think that is a good thing, now I try to go at about 10-12 weeks.
My routine has been super simple lately, I just put in the vviolet body wave gel at night then wear my plastic cap for about 15 minutes then i just sleep with my satin bonnet. In the morning I use a little of the oil moist and go, I'm lovin' it

Stephshe you have some beautiful hair...i wore a curl as a kid and of course it was more of a curl than a body wave lol...i remember they keep your hair really soft. i am wondering how you got your hair to grow. any tips? products? reggies?
