Only people that like this song are her die hard fans that can't seem to realize that Bey's personality plays on the insecurities or the trends of her audience at that time. Last year y'all wanted to be uplifted and united. This year y'all want to be hood boogers and ratchet queens. Go figure |
Actually, people who didnt even mess with Beyonce like that like this song. People are also complex, multi-dimensional beings, meaning that, they can want unity and upliftment and still say "fck them other bitches" from time to time.
It's fine if you dont like it, but you surely are giving many *&%^$#@Es about it, which is giving it even more publicity. |
I agree about her playing to whst people want. who runs the world cane out on the heels of firework and that Jesse j song and a few other uplifting songs that were out at the time. now beyonce is appropriating ratchetness because that's what's in.
also one second calling for unity and empowerment and another for division and subjugation isn't being multidimensional... it's picking and choosing personas when it's convenient/lucrative.
she's not the first to do it... it's business. but Stan's really hate to see it called what it is. |
I was speaking about the people who like the song.
Of course she's making business moves, she gotta eat. But people are entitled to like Run The World and Firework as well as Bow Down and Im Different and have them on the same playlist.
